  I think the main problem with lack of bargains is due to the fact that most of the bargains seen on here usually are 'loss leaders', with an event like this, a company simply can't or doesn't want to afford to offer several of these massively reduced deals which will be no benefit to them, so what we're seeing is 'slightly' discounted products or as the good guys have proven today, misleading discounts following short term price rises.
  
  The general public might be going for these deals, but the wool is not being pulled over our eyes.

Frenzy site already crashed, they just have links to the websites when went to those websites, didn't find any deals at all, it's a normal price everywhere. and most of the sites crashed, atleast this helped the websites to know whether they can handle the traffic or not and they seriously need to fix their servers and hire better IT people

  Our server's connection was capped at 10Mbps. I tweeted the inquiry to Crucial Paradigm, and they called up to upgrade to 30Mbps. However it needed a reboot. Otherwise the server is holding fine :)

Literally uninspiring stuff; clearly aimed at the people that have no idea how to bargain shop online. The range at some places was terrible - Myer, Dan Murphies, City Beach & Masters to name some. Personally think the best 'deal' were for the people who bought consoles at David Jones that scanned at 50% off the 'RRP' - which was a rival to the clickfrenzy failfest.
