This is normal price in Qatar on which people are jumping in Australia. Seems Apple is looting Australians.

Yeah, but do they have lamingtons ?

    • Send us a few from qatar

    • have you factored in the1 year in Qatar vs 2 year warrenty (with ACCC could be more) into your calculation?

    • Wait for iPhone 150.

Why do they call it the iPhone 360? Because when you see it, you turn 360 degrees and walk away.

        • +15

if you turn 360, you are still facing the iPhone 😁

  • Would someone wait for iPhone 16 with AI cores and more generative AI features?

i never seen so much positivity for an Apple product in OZB, this must be a good deal.

Hope this works for others, but this is how i managed to get it outright online.

    1. Log into my Telstra account

    2. on another webpage tab, i googled "Telstra Iphone 15 pro outright"

    3. Selected the second page down, title was "Save $300 on business Iphone 15 pro"

    4. Once on the Telstra page which displays the Iphone 15 Pro, I clicked on the 256GB option

    5. The "outright" option then appears on the "choose how you'll pay" section of the page

    6. I proceed to check out without selecting a plan

    7. Did an ID check and the purchase was successful.

    Hope this helps someone =)

  • Thanks OP! Got an watch 9 for 609 on 24 months repayment — not bad

    • how were you able to get the apple watch for $609? It is showing up $659 for me.

  • Anyone able to price match apple watch from OW?

    • My local store was going to do it but no stock 😭

      • What about with customer service and then click and collect from nearest store?

      • I got the watch price matched from OW customer service

  • +1

The business store link in the description is actually working, all you need to do is after you click that link, you just change the capacity, then the outright button will pops immediately!

  • Can you use Telstra points + money to pay?

What exactly is the ethos which you are referring to? A bargain can exist at any price point.

      • Apple bad! Elon bad! Billionaries bad! Socialism!

        • You extrapolated all that from my comment, huh? Ok.

        • +2

The downvotes bring all the lingering Commies to the yard.

      • -6

the ethos I'm referring to is using a clapped out phone with a cracked screen and 69% battery health for as long as possible, then buying a 3 year old refurbished grey import from an eBay seller called cheap_preowned_au_3871579

        • +4

might be 'your ethos', nothing to do with this site

Has anyone get a successful PM with JB Hi-fi?

  • I was with Vodafone iPhone 15 Pro 128GB - $47.19 per month. Got Vodafone customer support to give a deal. They didn't exactly price match but offered $43.74 (36 months)

    Not a bad deal…

  • Damn
Just bought some apple gc yesterday from Woolies

    • +1

Price match at Apple ( up to 10% ) use the gift cards. Lower price that this deal.

      • Where can find these apple gift cards ?

      • How do you price match with Apple? chat/phone/instore?

        • Over the phone

          • @Funjolt: I just called Apple on their 133 622 Phone Sales Specialist - they said they can't match it because the computer says no.
damn, i had also bought apple GC's through Woolies!

      • is anyone able to price match this at apple and pay via apple gcs?

        • I spoke to them over the phone and they were happy to reduce price upto maximum of 10% to $1349. If you pay by gift cards you save equivalent of 10% in rewards points which is $135. So effectively $1214 which is $15 expensive than this deal.

          • @Funjolt: How come they can price match for some but for others they cant? Is there a magic phrase that you have to say?

      • It will be $15 more expensive.

      • If you have 15% off apple e-gift cards. Or you buy a iPhone over $1580.00. Lower price than this deal :)

        • When was the last deal of 15% off apple gift cards?

  • +1

Thank you, I went to the local Telstra Store & picked up one for my wife at the listed price without issue.

    • Why no one is picking up for himself?

      • +2

Personally, I'm 100% Android. This is wayyyy more than I would spend on myself.

Still with iPhone 7 plus, runs like 15 what's point upgrade does same thing not like omg playing games or anything

Does anyone know if Telstra accepts change of mind returns for colour?
Decided to surprise my wife with Natural Titanium but I have a hunch that she might prefer White Titanium

    • yes

      • I don’t think so. I contacted them this morning and they told me “no refunds for change of mind”. I still have the screenshot of the chat.

        • Does anyone know if Telstra accepts change of mind returns for colour?

I was answering yes to this - someone would know the answer

  • crap i just got one yesterday at HN. will they price match telstra and refund me the difference even though online chat cant see advertised price unless you log on with a telstra id ?

    • if online order hasn't been dispatched/collected yet, then cancel it

if purchased in-store and still unopened, then try to return it in-store, possible price-match

  • Michele Is joining the chat soon.

  • OW all the way = NO hooping!

  • I already have an active telstra plan. Is there anyway to get an iphone on 24/36 month repayments, without adding another plan?

  • My order (through the business store link) was just dispatched with tracking number. Time to order a case.

Also seems like I am the only one buying the 15 Plus? I have derated my Galaxy S21 back to 60hz for battery anyway so have no care for that.

Why people are buying 128GB? Isn't it better to get 1tb?

    • +4

      may not be financially better

    • Not for people who just pick up answering a phone call and take some photos

    • It is cheaper and with USB-C on the Pros you can attach a storage device and offload things like photos.

  • is anyone able to price match this at apple and pay via apple gift cards?

    • even if u did apple will only ever offer a 10% price match theyll never go any higher

  • Price matched at Optus after MUCH faffing about.

Yeah, I know Optus coverage isn't as good as Telstra, but the cheapest Telstra plan (50GB) was $300 more expensive over 24 months than the Optus (30GB) plan over 24 months which would wipe out the $300 saving.

    Thanks OP! I'm happy.

  • Doing the maths here:

    • Cost when buying via Telstra is $1548.96 ($129.08/month) when you stay connected with Telstra for 12 months.
    • Cheapest Telstra SIM plan seems to be $62/month = $744/year.
    • So all up, its $2292.96 for the iPhone 15 Pro 128GB with Telstra service for 12-months?

For comparison, Apple iPhone 15 Pro 128GB is $1849 @ JB … plus say $230 for a 12-month Boost Mobile plan.

Would love to know if there's a cheaper way, as the misses is after a new iPhone.

    • +2

As per the updated description you can only purchase it without a plan for the discounted price in-store. Then you're free to go on a Boost plan or any other plan you like.

    • I wonder if Apple will do price match if sign up carrier deal with Vodafone. Lets say they will….

      After 10% price match $1664.1
      Carrier offer $1000 credit $664.1
Pay this balance with discount gift card $567.69
Carrier offer cheapest plan is $69 over 24 months

      Comes to 2253.69 over 24 month = $93.9 / month

      Now I am temped……

    • Would love to know if there's a cheaper way, as the misses is after a new iPhone.

price-beat in-store at Officeworks and pay with discounted gift cards

i suggest 256GB for Pro instead of 128GB, though, due to camera

I was able to purchase an iPhone outright via the Telstra app as a current mobile customer. Like many, I had trouble finding the option in the app to purchase it outright.

Using the Telstra app, I selected the "Services" tab, scrolled down to select the option "Looking for something new?", and then "Outright device". I was then able to select an iPhone I wanted and complete the purchase this way.

I was also expecting $300 off but received a $350 discount instead as a targeted Telstra customer!

    • Legend, the only way I have been able to do it online.
