Tips:

  • Use "add to basket" if you are buying more than one item to minimise the number of times you use this coupon, while ensuring your basket holds less than $1,500 of items to avoid the $300 cap.
  • Do your research first. Some retailers/items may be overpriced, certain items will be cheaper elsewhere even without the 20% off.
  • As always don't forget 2% cash back from Cash Rewards. Help
  • Dick Smith is having their own sale on their site. It's always best to compare the prices between DSE eBay and the DSE website.

I got one, I'm happy with it - A little bit of back light bleed but great image quality. I paid around $340 for mine.

Does anyone find a good deal on laptop for everyday use? Just to watch movie, and browse internet etc and do some office works

    • These are all the i3 laptops and notebooks included in the sale:

      http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_odkw=%28laptop%2Cnotebook…

All should be plenty powerful enough for basic use.

Some are refurbs, some are new. Plenty for under and around $500 once discount is applied.

      I like the Dells, myself.

      • Wonder how they would compare to $200 upgraded Acer?

        • I don't recommend the cheaper-end acer laptops. The one I had the screen break off within a year, with almost no use (just from normal opening and closing the lid it never left the house, or anything. Just bad design and super low quality).

        • @mgowen: Not sure if you're aware which one I'm talking about.
Here's the deal that was posted.

Futu prices are no good. Would rather give the money to SE if I were buying this card

    http://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/asus-geforce-gtx-960-s…

Pretty sure Futu are Shopping Express

I bought a laptop off them at the last 20% off sale and it came from the same address as SE

      • Yup, ordered from Futu, got delivered in Shopping Express boxes :?

  • Last one from kogan (HK):

    Pentium G3258 for ~$70

Kogan is running quite a few listings like this it seems. When it sells out they update the listing with one more, so if it's still listed but out of stock, check back in a few minutes and there'll probably be one left again.

On the plus side, also noticed a few Kogan listings that are discounted by 5% (and not on jacked prices)

      • Yeah, I was wondering why that happened. Nicely spotted - you must have been eyeing/bought the same thing?

  • Naturally, Kogan removes the LG G4 from their eBay site when the deal goes live. Bloody hell

  • +1

Anyone know any good headsets with mic I can buy?

  • +2

We need DigiDirect in on these sales

  • Oh regrets.. I didn't even see this and bought a new camera last night from elsewhere after mulling over it for 3 weeks :c could have saved myself heaps. I dunno if they'll let me cancel my order now

    • What camera?

      • -1

        G7x you after one?

  • +1

IS LG G3 from Kogan at $386.2 a good buy ?

    • It has recently gone down to $403 for Oz stock

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/196508

IMO I would rather pay the extra $$ for the 2 year warranty.

      • +3

The G3 is an exception of local stock being better. You should always get grey import if you want the G3! 3GB of ram.

        • 3GB of RAM and 32GB flash memory

    • $376.56 after cashrewards

  • Any good SSD prices?

    • check futu online.. good prices on Evo

  • Any good NAS deals?

    Was looking at the following:
    Netgear RN10200 Ready NAS - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/360975564163
With a couple of these: Western Digital WD Caviar Red 4TB - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/360915968786
    Comes to $578 after the 20% off…

    Any good?
Whats Futu Online like to deal with?

    • Netgear RN10200 Ready NAS is $129 at ShoppingExpress. With 20% Ebay one will be $130.
WD Red 4TB (similar) is $227 at ShoppingExpress. With 20% Ebay one will be $224.

      You can decide better.

      • Thanks for that…

    • Shoppingexpress is having WD 4GB on special on 29 June for $209 and Seagate 8TB for $299. I don't see any reason buying from eBay

  • Cheers, OP. Got a Sony Z4 tablet from Kogan for $755 :).

  • Are there any good Xbox one deals? I just want to play project cars so would sell off whatever game the bundle has.

  • Got the Note 4 and its S-View case from TGG. Thanks OP

  • Thoughts on weber q for $375 - 20% = $300??

However, Dell's own online store reports 4-5 week lead time for delivery!

Got a Sony RX100 M3 camera from Kogan for $712.26 delivered. Just wondering how accurate their estimated delivery dates are? 15th to 20th July says ebay and i need it by about then.

    • +1

      2 weeks sounds about normal

Been arr-ing and umping about ordering an ASUS ux305 from the US. Spotted DSEs t300 chi on special for $959 which is a fairly good price. But when 20% off was added became$767 which was enough to sway me. Happy camper and thanks to the OP

    • Was considering that one as well… until I saw that it's got no standard sized USB ports. Grabbed the Acer S7 instead.

      • Yeah I certainly wouldve like some real ports. And RAM. And storage.. But I couldn't go past that price

  • Any smart chargers for rechargeable batteries? ANY help is greatly appreciated ☺

    • OR use this link to search all 17 stores (replace 'search' with what you are looking for). Thanks to barnetas

    • Yah i am also looking to buy some smart charger but can't find any decent deal yet.

  • So annoying, the good guys have Panasonic air con on sale, but their ebay site does not have any stock. weird that yesterday it was showing in stock.

  • +1

Only Online sometimes has some good deals on products, but their CS can be improved a bit. I once bought a laptop from them but it was faulty - ended up returning via PayPal dispute process because they wanted me to use the manufacturers warranty instead of taking responsibility for selling me a faulty good.

    • What laptop did you buy? I just ordered one of them last week, a bit worried now!

  • Bought a Dyson from GoodGuys and a Garmin Vivosmart from Dick Smith both got a good discount with the 20% off

  • +1

Is this a record first post attracting more than 1000 upvotes..Well done asfd.. :-)

    • +2

      No, it's not a record

      • but it is a first post (on this account anyway)

        • yes, you're right.

  • Bing Lee no click and collect, is it still possible to arrange it?

  • Looking for a android phone under $350
    Any suggestions recommendation?

  • +2

Grabbed G2 from OO ebay store. :) Thanks OP

    • You know if that can be claimed via TRS? because the discounted price comes to just under $300…

      • +1

In previous deals where ebay applies the discount via code and it's not a store specific code, the invoice from the supplier comes through as full price. I don't know if this will be different.

      • +1

I have no clue, to be honest. Though on your invoice, as crudman said, it will have the full price on it (likely at least from last few 20% off deals like that). I think this one is an Australian stock, so it should incur GST. That said, as I've said before, I am not certain.

EDIT: I've checked my Paypal account and it says the full price (funded with a voucher and a bank account).

        • Awesome, thanks for the info mate - purchased :-)

Now to get a case… You know of a good one? I might check out the local stores to try some out rather than get a elcheapo case from ebay (I have had ones with crappy hard plastic that damages the phone case)…

        • +1

@cosjav: Aliexpress and Amazon, they are your friends if you want a case. I grabbed relatively decent looking one (relatively speaking) from Amazon and a simple silicon one from Aliexpress as a back up. Since Amazon do provide a review section, I think that might be a decent place to start.

  • +1

Any good dual band ADSL wireless router?

    • +1

No good. I had just done a price check on TPLink D7 and D9, Dlink 1750 and 1900

Prices are ok only if you really need it now.

      • +1

Yeah even the TP Link W8980 their price are higher and only a bit cheaper after 20% off.

  • +9

I miss the old ebay deals when it was 20% off GLOBALLY with no stores compensating.

  • +4

Really good deal for this Panasonic fridge, new record low price, bring it down to sub $1200 after applying the code and cash rewards

(It used to cost around $1700, only down $1444 due to HN EOFY Deal)

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Panasonic-Bottom-Mount-Fridge…

      • I own one. It's pretty cool, overall a Good fridge.

        • I own one as well! it's an awesome fridge I paid $1,500 from memory.. but the price has gone up to $1,700 in the past! Jump on it or go in store to check it out.. well worth it! make sure you measure it up as well!

  • Bought some Samsung 850 EVO's. Cheaper than MSY, and no CC surcharge. Win!

  • +1

Thanks OP - Bought an oven.

    • Well, they tell me it's out of stock for two weeks :(

  • +6

wow…everyone must be desperate to spend money..even the last 20% off whole ebay didn't have that many +….

  • any olympus accessories or lens we can buy with this 20%?

  • Any good deals for a wifi modem/router? $200 range?

Need to upgrade from our Telstra issued Alcatel Speedtouch :S

  • has anyone bought any washing machine that can be a bargain?

    • +2

      I posted earlier up - I reckon TGG's LG WD12021D6 for ~$540 is a great deal.

      • Can you fit that washing machine in a SUV? Ie Mazda cx5. Can they be stored on their side?

        • Technically some can, and it might (probably does - but not sure) have transit bolts. If so, it's fine. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it with a front loader - a lot of weight pushing down.

I think the delivery ($30) is pretty reasonable. I would have taken it, but I want to pick it up ASAP (today/tomorrow as I've been in my place almost a week with no washer !), and I can grab a trailer for it. Delivery would be my recommendation.

        • @dstambou: Thanks for the information.
yeah I would be delivery but I'm building a place that won't finish for a few months so I guess any savings would be offset later on.. something better might come along.

    • I also need a washing machine!

      • Reviews on the LG are great - I recommend it :)

        • +3

Yeah Thanks I'm reading the reviews of the WD12021D6 and it sounds great for me (living solo in apartment). Most cheap appliances never have good reviews.

Not sure if I need a dryer now… hmm

        • @Shibbyyy: yup! Same situation as me :) Perfect for one person or a small family. Dryer is not really necessary IMHO. I just dry them indoors / on the balcony on a normal clothes airing rack and the works well enough, even in winter.

        • @dstambou:
Good point I'll save my cash and air dry!

Got this one the other day

      (profanity) bargain with 20% off!

Wish I waited for this deal…

      • Yup! That was the 2nd one I was looking at. Both excellent machines that have been said to run well, the FP is more efficient overall, and they both run quiet. In the end, price-performance-quality ratio tipped me in favour of the LG.

2 year warranty + an extra year because I bought it on my credit card. + 10 year warranty on the drive. Pretty good deal.

        • Heh I saw that - but unfortunately you need to buy the dryer (as well as the washer) to get the cashback:
