    Hello Ozbargains,

Firstly, thank you for all these years to share tips and deals to make the shopping experience enjoyable and worthwhile! This is my first post to share and I hope whoever got this deal will enjoy it!

I have one of these and personally love them! Able to connect either to two devices maximum, PCs and/or Mac with the switching experience as instant.

Pricing is amazing with the exception of the retail box won't be as pretty. This is based on their store's promotion, 'Opened Box Sale'. However, the warranty won't be affected by this.

    Happy hunting!

    References and quotes below:

This is where you will find quality products, but with not so pretty boxes. They carry the full warranty terms as new, but because the box or packaging may not be up to our standard, we've lowered the price for you. These prices are amazing compared to normal products, and the quality is just the same!

  • Merged from Roger Armstrong Flat Fold Bath Tub $33.57 + Delivery ($0 with Prime/ $39 Spend) @ Amazon AU
    Go to Deal

Good price for this - camel x3 shows it’s normally in the low $40 range.

I’ve got this bath at home and it’s a great bath, bigger than the one built into our change table so it still fit my kid laying down until they were big enough to sit up in the bath instead

Yes Kmart have a foldable bath for a few dollars less but the quality doesn’t look as good IMO and I think this one is a little bigger

(Amazon only showing 3 available so won’t last long)

    • Good bathtub had ours for over 5 years for 2 kids!

      • good till what age ?

        • My wife had to remind me we had our first in there until at least 2 if not 2.5 years of age.

It sat idle for us for at least 3 years and it is still going strong

Since having number 2 we've been using two of these target laundry baskets. They're better in a number of ways:

      1) They are cheaper
      2) They double as laundry baskets
      3) They stack
      4) You can get two in a bath
      5) You can make the water deeper without wasting it like in a normal baby bath or full sized bath
      6) The kids like them more because the toys don't stray too far away from them and they can lean back against the edges.

      https://www.target.com.au/p/42l-flexi-tub-assorted/61873834?…

      • They look too small for toddlers and difficult to use for babies

        • My kids have been using them since six months old and my boy is 3.5 now but very big for his age. He much prefers it to the baby bath. It's like a hot tub.

    • +1

Do these actually work? It looks like you'd need to be sitting right next (less than 1m) to it to feel any heat outdoors?

      • +13

The only thing working will be your power meter :)

      • I guess might be good enough for Qld

      • +1

The best use of this is pissing off your landlord if you've got electricity bills included.

      • Install at the floor level for best results.

        Kinda /s, kinda not.

    • Is this store running away?

      • I think the entire area wants to.

    • Affordable - up to 5 times cheaper to run than Gas heating

maybe if you're running on full solar lol

      • Who doesn't have solar

        • most

          • @[Deactivated]: Over 30% do nationally and the ratio is higher in Queensland and higher again around Runaway Bay so “most” might be true but it’sa tight race.

      • +1

Where are the wifi gas heaters?

      • Well a 9kg gas bottle refill costs~$20 and would easily run out in a couple of evenings, say two to three at most. So running two of these at 2000W x2 (4000W=4kW) @$.30per kW which translates to ~$1.20 per hour x 5 hours = $6.00 per usage. Seems cheaper than gas to me, or at least on par. I know I haven't compared heat output, but I think something like this will do the trick in an enclosed space. Additionally, these save you the hassle of ongoing gas refills and the running out of gas inconvenience whilst entertaining.
I'm not advocating for this particular unit though.

    • Was walking through BigW at Runaway Bay yesterday

Mistake. You should've been running to keep up.

    • So it's the same as infrared heater?..

      • It's perfectly valid to call it an infrared heater.

Does open box mean used in the case of SSD drives? I'm wondering endurance wise what the impact is.

      • +2

Shopping Express claims that it means the SSD's box isn't up to standard and so can't be sold as brand new. But I think it's more likely these are just SSDs that were returned due to change of mind.

It is still covered under warranty, so endurance shouldn't be of concern.

        • Either way it’s probably best to check its SMART stats after purchase just in case. If it was thrashed by a Chia miner, then it’s possible that the TBW threshold could’ve been reached.

          • @skittlebrau: I just received it, SMART has no more writes than the writing I did when transferring the OS. The drive performs as expected, but the controller runs hot. The manual came damaged, so I'm guessing that's why it couldn't be sold as brand new.

          • @skittlebrau: just curious, how do you check "SMART stats"?

        • +1

The question that needs to be answered is:
Is the actual SSD used or is it unused?

Not if the box is good/bad/supplied or not etc. The box is not kept, so it does not matter.

          • @AndyC1: Just got the drive, it wasn't used, and if it was it was such a small amount since I didn't see any extra writes in SMART.

    • Add “ NVMe M.2 SSD” in title pls.
Would’ve bought it if it’s SATA.
