Greetings everyone, just spotted this over at HUKD.

You can get 10% off sitewide @ eBay UK via App and works on gift cards!

Instructions:

  1. Open the eBay app and log in to your eBay UK account.
  2. Go to the 3 lines at the top left and go to Settings.
  3. Go to Country/Region and change your country to UK
  4. Add item to cart and apply the coupon "PLAYAPP"

You will need to make a new account if you don't have an eBay UK account yet. And then put a UK address as your primary address when you sign up and change it to Australia afterwards to be able to add the gift cards to cart.

    tried with my Chinese bank card, 3 times successful, 0 exchange expense,
    the 4th one won't let me go through, used common bank, went through.

    800 AU- 80AU =720 AU,
    ordered 4 times, 3200 AUD.
    =2880AUD.

      actually not for the non Australian % offs. e.g. you cant buy a gift card and then use the gift card to buy an item at 10% off on a non AU ebay site as the gift cards only work on ebay.com.au

      You can use it multiple times until the balance becomes $0. You can add it to woolworths money app for your convenience and even use it to top up your opal cards.

      yes can be used multiple times. You just add your card into woolworths Money app and use them at checkout. Remaining balance gets updated real-time.

          Oh just the eBay ones. Wish cards are normally 5% so the extra 5% isn’t as worth as eBay - at least for me.

            Account main address is UK and postal is AU which allows me to checkout the gift cards.

            Code cannot be applied to this order for eBay gift cards but works on other items.

              @Yanoflies: Add the items in cart, select uk address, only then you can apply code, once applied and paypal is setup, then change the address again to au address. Then it should go through. Hope this helps.

    brought 3 wish no problem. try another transaction (5 cards), after clicked pay, shows something went wrong, deleted one item, looks ok. however i can see double order (5 cards) with payment pending, and 4 cards order not shown anywhere. no money been charged yet.

      and i guess if you check your ebay uk account, will will see payment pending in history. maybe ebay and paypal fixed this
