Greetings everyone, just spotted this over at HUKD.

Instructions:

  1. Open the eBay app and log in to your eBay UK account.
  2. Go to the 3 lines at the top left and go to Settings.
  3. Go to Country/Region and change your country to UK
  4. Add item to cart and apply the coupon "PLAYAPP"

You will need to make a new account if you don't have an eBay UK account yet. And then put a UK address as your primary address when you sign up and change it to Australia afterwards to be able to add the gift cards to cart.

      Yep, all Woolworths cards are WISH cards.

      I got this one and added it to Woolworths money app and verified as a WISH card (branded WISH in the listing), but can confirm all other Woolworths cards sold by PPDG are WISH cards either way.

      Just tested it then, code is still working fine.

      Are you sure that you have the following settings set:

      1. You have a UK primary address and AU delivery address in the account being used?
      2. Your setting for country in the app is set to UK?

      If it's coming up with that error when trying to apply the coupon, it's most likely that one of those isn't set right.

        Thanks. Noticed than I have changed the country/region to AU. Changing it back allows me to apply the code. However got stopped at the payment step. Won’t accept my paypal or my cards.

    I have tried the ultimate steps this morning using a vpn to UK, set up a UK paypal account.

    So everything is UK except the Australian delivery address

    the app just doesn't let me pass the payment..

    how you guys did it is beyond me..

      Put an Australian physical item from a random Aussie seller into your cart for checkout. Then after code has been applied change address to Aus, and remove Australian item, so only gift card remains, should allow payment and still have discount applied.

    To those having issues, try using a different Paypal account. I wasn't able to get it working for hours until I tried a different account, worked and checked out first time.

    ive always just been buying gift cards on these type of overseas ebay deals, but the code means that I can choose any item on ebay AU, add it to UK cart and then get 10% off????

    that means you can get 10% off site wide on anything on ebay AU site, so it would be good for those items or sellers that are never on the 10-20% off ebay codes tha get released weekly

    is this correct?

    SUCCEED FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!

    The trick is:
    1, Register an eBay UK account, add two addresses: one random UK address and one your real AU address(matches your PayPal account?)
    2, in eBay App, log in using eBay UK account, change location to UK manually
    3, add cards to cart, pay as paypal, go back
    4, switch primary address to AU real address
    5, back to cart, apply code and pay

      this method worked except I had the address correct all along and only changed the region part in steps 2 and 4 (manual select)

      My paypal is linked to 28 degrees CC so it went through ok

      maybe the international travel card linked to paypal is the trick (it failed when entering it as a manual card transaction)

      all gift cards came thru 5 mins later

    Okay so I tried all the possible things I can and I wasn't able to purchase. If I select AU address, i wasn't able to enter 10% discount code. If I select UK address, I wasn't getting confirm order button. So here is what worked for me

    Primary address = AU
    Country = Disable auto locate and select United Kingdom

    It worked. Simple fix

    I tried everything listed here. But keep getting "we cant process your payment. Please selected a different payment method" after paypal finished the identity verification process with a text message or call. Did it both ways at least 10 times but keep arriving at this message. Have linked paypal au account to my ebay uk account that i just created

      yeah mine keeped looping too. I ended signing out and killing the ebay app and logging back in again. It worked then.

      Comes in in the Woolworths Money app as a WISH card and wish cards can be used there. Havent tested in person though.

    I had "You can't apply vouchers at this time" between attempts, now getting the most common error saying "We can't process your payment".

        I didnt try. But from the instruction I recieved with my gift card. It says 'Find the products you love on eBay.com.au and add them to your cart.
        Enter the 13-digit redemption code during checkout, then Apply.
        Review the payment details and click Confirm and Pay.

    managed to purchase 5x $100 jb gift cards on 2 separate ebay uk accounts (10 in total) with my one single paypal account, but upon trying with a third ebay uk account i cant link my paypal to the account. then tried using my wife's paypal account with a new ebay uk account and still the same issue, not able to use her paypal account with the new ebay uk account.

    is anyone else having issues with paypal not working with ebay uk accounts now?

    Have never ever gotten this to work. I can't even use Paypal to pay this time around:

    Paypal credit isn't eligible for this purchase, which may be due to one of the following reasons:
    * A seller isn't eligible to accept PayPal Credit
    * You're buyig an item sold in a currency that is not supported
    * You have a Paypal business account

    You can still however select PayPay and login but when you click to confrim payment an error message appears:

    "We can't process your payment. Please select a different payment method or check your payment details including your billing address"

    Give up!

      Do you have a bank account liked to paypal? My wifes paypal didn't work, but mine did. She has a positive balance and didnt have a linked bank account setup. I had a $0 balance with linked account. Same billing address. Sames credit cards. I also didn't have the paypal app installed on my phone.

        What I find strange is it gave me that msg about not being able to pay with Paypal at the checkout screen. So somehow the merchant or eBay is not letting me. PayPal's just another hurdle I'll probably not get over.

    Inaccessible deal. I could get these before, but this one in particular won't work.
