    No GPU

    Run out huh ???

    • +9

I've seen people asking for it as an option in the comments a few times

      • +7

This is correct, we've had deals in the past with this similar concept (work-station builds) and that is why were are offering this option again.

        ~ Christian

        • I need a deep learning build lol. Need a beefed up GPU, a PSU that can stand heavy load and no RGB/boring looking is ok.

          • @AlgoTrading: With 3-4 GPUs deep learning build, it's better to use the open air case (similar to used by miners) with raisers, otherwise hard to cool or fit all GPUs.

  • Any update on 3080 stock?

    • +1

Same phrase, same question, every single post!

    • +3

RTX 3080 customers were messaged late last week regarding updates on their order, if you have an order and haven't received this email - please check your junk mail or email [email protected] and our team will be able to advise you of your order update, thank you.

      ~ Christian

      • Hey Christian,

Any chance you could update me on order #TF4616022631?
I emailed 2 days ago but no reply.

        Thank you

  • Any updates on the 5600x 3070 dispatch date?

    • Please email [email protected] with your order number and our team will be able to look into this for you.

      ~ Christian

  • Any deals on Intel PCs without GPUs ?

    • +1

No word regarding this at this stage, unfortunately.

      ~ Christian

      • its not unfortunate, people just need to stop being racists with CPU's

        • +4

Maybe because the blue cpus have integrated graphics.

  • -8

There was a time when you saved money buying from techfast. Those days are gone. $90 SAVE with $50 shipping. Really bad deal. Bring back the 10400 + 3070 for 1480 please!

    • The TA / TechFast deal for a Ryzen 5 3600 and RTX 3070 was probably the best one we've seen from memory.

      • -2

Yeah, that is one. There was Intel version with 10400f.

    • +2

      Bring back the 10400 + 3070 for 1480 please!

      Lol GL with that.

    • -3

4 downvotes and I haven't even mentioned about the 3 weeks waiting its delivery lol.

  • +3

These all have RTX 0080 GPUs :)

  • graphics card shortage will last the entire 2021

    • -1

I came from the future. Yes it will.

    • That's a safe bet

  • Can this be bought without the OS SSD as well?

    • +1

It is free, just format the SSD when get it.

    • +2

      Unfortunately no, sorry!

      ~ Christian

  • Hi Christian,

What X570 motherboard are you offering for upgrade option? Is it the MSI A-PRO?

    Cheers

    • +1

I can confirm we have the X570 MSI A-PRO in stock as of currently, so this would most likely be the upgrade option, however, please consider that a different brand model may be used as it is dependent on what is in stock at the time of the PC build in question.

      ~ Christian

      • Well, as long as it's not a Biostar motherboard.

      • For the 5900x build,

What motherboards do you have in stock with the WiFi upgrade option?

  • Do these fall under the usual dispatch time of 14 business days or will they be dispatched faster as they are not waiting on GPUs?

    • All systems above in this deal would be under the dispatch time frame of approximately 14 business days.

      ~ Christian

      • +1

        Thanks mate

  • Waiting for 3080.

I'd try the 3070 but I want the triple fan models.

    Any deals with a 3090?

  • +3

I know I'm old, but I'd like a case without all the RGB and bling.

  • Any chance of an optional 18tb HDD or 10? Could be a good chance to strike a demand spike with some attractive bundles.

Also interested in any 10tb and up :)

    • We can't offer that at this stage, sorry.

      ~ Christian

  • +1

A bit silly considering the zen 3 processors don’t have igpu’s. Better off selling intel so you can at least boot the system to see if things work.

    • This is great for the current times. Like my current friend who wants to upgrade his video editing rig but doesn't want to upgrade his 1080 just yet.

Techfast would be testing these to make sure they work first, it's not like they're sending out pcs that are not working.

  • Still waiting on news for the the 6700xt 3600 purchased a month ago!

    • Please email [email protected] with your order number and our team will be able to look into this for you.

      ~ Christian

  • I could maybe understand 5900x build, but why on earth would you want a 5600x and 5800x prebuild with no GPU

  • Debatable Question -

What’s the best option for office work - no gaming.
Buying a Mac Mini 16 GB or a gaming PC?

I’ve been using windows since I was a kid and recently switch to MacBook Pro - and have been loving the experience.

Windows aren’t supported on M1, so dual boot isn’t viable atm. But who knows what happens in future

    Any suggestions/advise?

    • You need to be more specific about what you want to use the PC for. A "gaming" PC implies a powerful/expensive GPU which is not required for typical office work.

    • Huh, you mean officially supported with Bootcamp? As you can use Windows ARM with parallels.

    • +2

If by office work you mean the usual office suite, browser and accounting software then buy a second hand NUC or SFF PC for a couple of hundred bucks. Short of a few low power things any computer from the past 5 years will run Windows fine if it has enough memory. If it doesn't, upgrade the memory.

If you need macOS, buy a mini. Don't buy the 16GB, you won't need it (unless you have software that does need it). MacOS has better memory management (i.e. shared elements that are used by multiple apps, rather than every app doing it's own thing in memory, reduces usage quite a lot).

Or just buy a dock, keyboard and mouse. Bam, your macbook pro is a desktop.

      • Or just buy a dock, keyboard and mouse. Bam, your macbook pro is a desktop.

        this

    • +2

      Parallels.

I installed it on my M1 Pro a few days ago and it’s great. You’ll be able to run the whole MS suite.

  • We finally caught up with Europe, they have been selling pre build with no GPU for a while.

  • +1

I finally pulled the trigger. Ordered a 5900X system. Thanks!

  • +1

The 3070 with 5800x and 5900x links don't seem right, they link to the 3700x deal (which is also labelled as expired)

Any further plans for 6700xt or other AMD GPU PCs? Thanks

    • Thanks for this, have updated the deal! No further information has been given at this stage.

      ~ Christian

      • There still seems to be something wrong with the links for the 5800x and 5900x deals - they don't seem to go anywhere now. The others are working.

        • Yep I've got the same problem with 3070 5800/5900 links not going anywhere - which are the codes for those deals?
Is there an option to upgrade cooling?
How good is the included 240mm one?

  • Are the AIOs Allied?

  • +1

Would jump on this so fast if it was using an NR200 or something else small and non-ridiculous looking.

    • +1

  • Would these prebuild systems work with very little tweaking if adding a GPU in before switching it on?

    • Yeah plug a gpu in and install the drivers is all it should take.

  • +3

    Anyone interested in 3080 update?

  • Hey what are the chances they would sell an sli rig?!

    • I thought only 3090 support SLI?

    • +1

      Not at this stage, sorry.

      ~ Christian

      • +3

Any update on the Galax cards which were thought to come in this week?

  • Hey Luke, could I get an update on an order please, (TF4617592631) placed it on the 6th April. Cheers.

    • +1

Hi mate, please email [email protected] and our team will be able to look into this for you thank you.

      ~ Christian

  • +1

Sent an email about the galax 3080's and they came in late last week and are in build phase now so not long now 3080 gamers!

    • Where'd you order your 3080 from?

      • same as the deal the guy below linked just over 3 month wait but thing is amazing and very happy.

  • +1

Got my RTX3080 sent this afternoon! Can't wait to get it!
I optioned sending the rest of the PC a while ago, so GPU is the only left part for me.

    • Is it the MSI 3080? Cant wait for mine. 🙏

      • No, mine is standard Galax 3080

    • Where'd you order your 3080 from?

      • It was this end of Jan deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/600812
Took more than 3 months to get the card on hand. But all good now. No where to find decent 3080 in that price range. Galax card is not any OC but very good cooling with huge cooler

        • 3 months? Holy shit. Goo job though mate!

  • is the $1188 one still available?
