Dell V313 All-in-One Printer - Only $9.00

4630

I know..I know….they are inkjets…and companies make money from sellings cartridges. BUT it has got a scanner too….and it's wireless…so IMO it's good for 9 bucks..

The specs don't really say that it's wireless…but i received an email from DELL showing the same price and photo of the printer…and it says it has an built-in 802.11 b/g/n wireless printing. So not sure about that.

EDIT : Those who don't beleive me…check this out : https://docs.google.com/open?id=0Bxkv5bFG68uYRFFDNTZ4Yzh0QVk

Mod: This is not the wireless version.

Just bought one..thanks OP….comes with a 3M cable which is probably worth more than $9 LOL!!!!

  • Review at http://www.retrevo.com/s/Dell-V313-Multifunction-Printers-re… suggests it's a pretty decent printer for its time, but has been retired.

Which would explain the price - but still, that's a hot deal. Nice find OP.

By the way, wireless version is below it OP - has a W suffix.

    • +1

      Read the Amazon reviews.

"Avoid at all costs" "Do not buy this printer" "In good conscious, I won't even donate it!"
      etc

  • +1

purchased just for the wireless scanning.

    GREAT DEAL!

    • +5

      EDIT:

and by wireless scanning i mean 3m cable taped to the wall :D

      Oops?

    • LMFAO!!!!

  • I have the v313w which is wireles.s

The v313, I think it's wired one, not wireless.

    But maybe I 'm wrong,,,,

    • You are right
It's just the OP has it wrong
      The wireless one is $79

  • Thanks OP, just got one!

  • Bought one. Thanks

  • sounds ok worth $9 just to try.

  • +6

I bought one of those (Dell V313W with Wireless) when Dell Swarm was still around. Pretty bad printer and mediocre scanner. But hey for $9?!!

  • +2

I move from OZB for half and hour and come back to this, with over 1200 clicks LOL.

Out of interest, I went to the DELL site and it's not connecting :-)

OZB takes down DELL. I can see it on Wired already. You sure you're all not part of Anonymous ;-)

    • 2800+ for me

  • Ordered one, thanks heaps!

My Brother DCP-165C is still functioning, but on its last legs. This is a perfect replacement!

  • They're also dumping these at http://www.graysonline.com/retail/V313/computers-and-it-equi…, for double the price. There may be other ways of getting them too.

  • just ordered one

  • Does the printer comes with Ink Cartridges??

    • Yes.

      Contents in the Box
DellTM V313 User's Guide (included in the Installation CD), Power Cord, Single Use Standard Capacity Color Cartridge, Single Use Standard Capacity Black Cartridge, Set Up Instructions (color poster), Installation Software CD (software and drivers), Hardware Recycle Program

  • +7

    Hah. Just got one.

No intention of even opening it. I'll be taken it to my local Cashies and doing a trade in for something more usefull like a handful of PS3 games (wink, wink)

  • Thanks op

  • bought one….but….. MUST …resist……to…buy…..another one…

  • +2

abyway, since I'll connect it to my router/NAS to make it compatible with airprint, it doesn't matter it's wired or wireless, it will be accessed wireless

    • Just be aware, lots of MFCs won't work with USB print servers, routers & NASes!

  • 1900 clicks. OP = Legend haha

  • How well does the scanner work on these? The resolution is 2x greater than the scanner I picked up for $5 at the markets.

  • +5

Anybody got a coupon code to bring the price down further? :)

    • +3

I have a coupon code which gives you 15% off on DELL printers…(sorry can't share here, as it's my work corporate account code)… but when applied the code on this deal, it overwrites the existing discount of $20, and gives you only a few dollars discount… so no use.

      • +1

        You mean this one? $X2Q3KGX4HHWSB

        ;)

  • Just bought one. Hope it can scan.
My Canon MP495 keeps having issues.

  • Buy printer for $9, get cheap cartridges off eBay for a fraction of Dell's price. Win.

  • Hmmmmmm……………

    $9 for an MFC…great deal…
    .
    .
…what's this here on the side…you will also need this USB printer cable…for $9!

It's hard to justify spending the same on a cable as a device, so if you don't have one already I guess you should order a cable (+ maybe an extension would be nice) from eBay at the same time to save a few dollars.

    • the USB cable was free for me.

    • mine came with a 3m USB cable included

    • Thanks, confirmed. Just clicked "Choose" and it also offered a free cable to me :) I was more a looker than a buyer in this case so I didn't click away (but normally I get screwed by airlines on latter pages…).

  • Got one :-)
    Happy Friday!!!

  • +1

    In time for tax deduction

    • +3

At $9 you will spend more time doing the accounting than the tax deduction is worth - that's why I bought 2, to make worth the the tax deduction!

  • 3900+ clicks!

  • +1

I don't need it, but in the true Ozbargainer spirit, I ordered one. With 2 years warranty as well? Surely the delivery cost will be more than $9. For that price, its even worthwhile printing until the cartridges are empty and use the AIO as a scanner.

  • I wasn't going to buy one of these; given that the Amazon reviews suggest that if it was free it'd still be too expensive.

But Dell stiffed me on one of their bait-and-switch "pricing mistakes" a while back, and padfoot07's pointed out that Dell will take the thing away again when I'm done.

So, the idea of spending $9 to make Dell spend money delivering me a printer, and then taking it away again once it's out of ink sounds like a bargain.

    • +2

I'm tempted to add a couple of housebricks to the box on the way out. Possibly some prawns.

  • $9 - got one.

    awesome.

  • +1

omg, i got 3 printers at home and i still bought it. >.<

  • +1

    I ….. Just ….. Could ….. Not ….. Say …… No !!!!!

  • I need 2 scanners, Canon LIDE cheapest model $110+ each - This thirsty cantankerous printer $9. $220 problem solved for $18 - Thanks for posting it! You made my day ;-)

    • I also bought one primarily for the scanner function.

  • Thanks heaps, Bought two as well.

  • NICE! Thanks OP, needed this a week ago but got one now. Here's hoping its not a typo and we get our orders rejected.

  • +2

i wonder if it will ever become sold out?
