OZB_TAXBACK_$500OFF

Hi OzBargain,

A lot of requests for our current best 9800X3D system that doesn't skip out on features and can do it all. Currently, purchases BEFORE the 22nd of September will also get a bonus free copy of Borderlands 4 valued at $109.95.* Really sweet value for these rigs that will tick the boxes for many people who want a beefed-up rig instead of the bare minimum.

✅ 10 phase VRM motherboard with an upgrade available to B650 EAGLE ATX at only $60 with 12+2+2 phases VRMs
✅ Ideal and sweet spot speed and lower latency RAM for X3D CPUs with SK Hynix A-Die 6000MHz CL28
✅ Reliable and likely B tier InWin PSUs on both builds that are PCIe 5.0 and ATX 3.0 ready
✅ Double the storage with 2TB Lexar NQ790 (R: 7000MB/s | W: 6000MB/s) vs standard 1TB drives
✅ Minimalistic air cooler design, better build quality material and operates quieter at approximately 25 dBa
✅ Front mesh panel design from MSI with 6x auto RGB fans vs 4x ARGB fans for even better cooling
✅ A more affordable RTX 5070 Ti GPU option is available as an alternative for the same system offering (with 750W PSU)

Thank you for your patience, we're bang on time with our ETA's roughly at this stage for now.

  • I've never ordered from Nebula before but do they already run the SATA/power wiring for the extra drives which are supported by the mobo/PSU? I realised when I last built my own PC I went modular to keep the power cables tidy but given the 5080 system isn't a modular PSU, I'm assuming the power cables are all just sitting there in the case somewhere.

If we don't pick Windows, does the PC come with an unactivated Windows 11 by any chance? Or is it totally bare with no drivers/etc installed?

    • +1

If it's a non-modular PSU, they'll be tucked away near the PSU shroud and not accessible to keep the cable management tidy; the SATA data cables are also not run unless your build requires them. All the spare parts are provided for you to install a SATA drive if you need. You'll need to send us an email and ask us to have them run if you'd like.

If you don't select an operating system, it will come with no operating system and boot into BIOS only; you will need to install an operating system of your choice. There will be no drivers installed.

Any other questions please let me know.

      • Thanks. Looking forward to receiving my PC.

        Per the Nebula FAQ:

We take quality control seriously. Before delivering any of our gaming PCs to our customers, we put each one through a rigorous quality control check to ensure that it's operating at peak performance. You'll notice that your PC will have 3DMark pre-installed and other applications to ensure that it passes our strict quality control standards.

Yes! All PCs from Nebula are ready to plug and play! We install all necessary drivers for your PC to function at optimal speeds. This includes audio, internet, graphics card and more to the latest versions available.

Just to confirm then, does this mean all parts/build are tested comprehensively before I pick up my PC but you'll just format/erase the SSD so there's no OS? Is it possible for you to take a screenshot of any of the results of the 3dmark or benchmark testing/etc just so we know what it should be achieving after we do our own installation/etc?

ps. Thanks for comment re: running sata/power cables - I've already emailed and got confirmation this will be done :)

I was tempted to go for the Eagle board upgrade for $60 but didn't want to have such a big tower.

    • +1

Thank you for your support. Great upgrade choices!

If you're after a smaller case, to my understanding the PANO PZ case is slightly larger than the 120A/321R. Please check the case dimensions online to double-check. However, the M100R PANO PZ case can't fit an ATX motherboard as it only supports mATX motherboards.

      • Interesting I didn't notice that since I also really wanted a case with the fishtank style (and white) look just to make it feel much more different than my previous tower.

If I had the budget I would have upgraded the RAM too but I figured by the time the 32gb is inadequate, hopefully I can score a cheaper 2x32gb kit.

        • got a similar build but I would recommend some upgrades

All mobo options bar 1, the aours ice (check hardware unboxed reviews for all)

Lexar ram is trash tier, go only for the Krav or Samsung

Inwin is trash tier psu, get literally anything else

          • @RamboMotin: I googled each of the parts when I ordered and they seem decent enough? I'm not looking for top tier/gold standard (at least not at this price point).

ps. The RAM is Klevv. The SSD is Lexar which seemed to have decent enough reviews as well.

            • @jace88: sorry meant ssd, check the failure rate lexar uses cheap parts and terrible speed for gaming, i researched for 3 days straight maybe 30 hours take my word for it

              • @RamboMotin: Interesting. I'm not planning to have anything particularly important or that speed sensitive but went 4TB as only 2 M.2 slots on the motherboard. That being said, every review I read of the Lexar NQ790 seemed to indicate it was pretty well received.

                • @jace88: also go for cl30 6000 ram (its the best for 9800x3d) like the g-skills neo option

                  • +1

@RamboMotin: I saw that but at $120 more… for me, I'm planning to upgrade the RAM to a 2x32GB kit in a couple of years time anyway. Don't think it'll make that big an impact for now.

Either way I've already ordered so probably not going to change anything. Still going to be a huge upgrade from my 3700x/2080Ti from 6 years ago. I regret spending so much (back then) on getting a nice X series mobo, 64gb ram, etc… didn't end up needing a lot of it.

  • is 400 extra worth it for the 5080 over 5070ti - gaming on a 4k oled (max 120hz), not playing shooters or anything competitve

    • Yes, for 4K gaming and not competitive shooters, you'll likely need a lot of GPU grunt.

  • If anyone wants to sell the borderlands 4 code please message me

    • Presumably most people will only get the code once they get the hardware which could still be some time away depending on when they ordered!

      (ps. DM'd)

  • I want ASSASSIN IV air cooler for CPU. Is it possible? if so, what is the price? Thx
