UPDATE
The only S7 models left in stock are the single sim versions - they have not raised the price on these. Out of stock

All items (again) sold out, all that remains are the S7 Edge (dual sim) for $727.20 delivered after 20% discount. (They didn't actually "raise" the price, this was another listing that was always there, it's a slightly different model, the G9350 which has a Snapdragon 820 processor rather than the G935FD which has an Exynos processor)

      • If your lucky. I must be unlucky haha… when i tried to sell my last android on gumtree, didnt get near what i thought i would compared to when i sold an iphone.

  • Seller has marked all listings as out of stock and created new listings with price increase.

  • What do people think, worth upgrading Note 3 to this?

Gee, all links are out of stock now expect for the Pink Gold S7.

  • No time to think. The S7 Edge pink gold is already sold out :(

    • They didn't have much stock on hand anyway.

    • Seller has resisted with price increase. I was going through checkout when item marked as out of stock and went and checked and relisted at higher price.

  • God damn it! Got my s7 edge for $30 more last week.

  • Poor form if they are going to raise prices

  • All out of stock

  • +1

Seems that they have raised their prices:
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-Galaxy-S7-G930F-4G-32GB-S…

    • Galaxy S7 Edge is now showing up as $909 for me. $41 price hike!

Edit: Nevermind. I think I was looking at the wrong model.

      • +1

        G930F, G935FD, G9350 are slightly different.

The G9350 is Snapdragon 820 processor and the G935FD is Exynos processor.

Certain customers have preference on one over another. Ah, well.

I think the cheaper variant models are sold out and more expensive remained, for now.

        • Yes that's correct @icecream thanks for explaining :) I hope they restock… definitely worth keeping an eye on.

    • Here come the negs…

    • +1

      Different model.

Hopefully they restock at same price.

    • +1

No, they haven't raised this price. This is the single SIM model which was always slightly more expensive. Seems that the cheaper dual SIM model is all gone.

    • They didn't raise their price, they sold out and that's a different model.

  • shit …. all gone…. i am late….

  • +1

Hey guys i have two in my bucket. But i can't apply choice20 code anymore

    • It usually works after you kick it a few times

      • click*

        • +1

LOL, would he/she be kicking somethings right now?

    • The voucher just worked for me on another item from Shopping Square's store as a trial. I don't think stock is reserved if it's just in your basket so maybe that's why it isn't working.

      • It says this code cant be applied to some of your items. Previously before logging into my PayPal it worked as soon as i logged into PayPal its giving this error. I have entered my visa card details but nothing….

        • Woohooo.. It worked after refreshing the page.

Ordered a rose gold dual sim s7 edge and a single sim black s7 edge which was 20 exp i guess…

          Total 1373/-

Time to say bubye to my beautiful xperia z3.

I think the black one for me is a snapdragon version… It was a bit expensive than dual sim version. I wish i had clicked on dual black one.

  • Super happy I pulled the trigger on this, going to be a great birthday present for a friend. When the deal got posted, there was only about ~8 Rose Gold S7 Edges left.

    • Lucky you. I missed out :-(

      • I too missed out :(

      • There is one back in stock.

      • Saw the deal, saw the price and instantly pressed buy after loading up CashRewards. No hesitation haha.

  • Thanks, grabbed the pink S7 Edge 935FD model.

  • +1

Most are back in stock (limited numbers), updated listing with all the links and added single sim links in too for when dual sims sell out again.

    • Now even more colours than before… they have added white and silver dual sim S7s. I would have preferred a silver to the black I bought but still happy :-)

    • yeah, managed to get one now, was kicking myself I saw it earlier hesitated and thought I missed it !!!

  • +1

Sighhhhh, wish I wasn't locked into a contract with my M9 right now..7 months to go

  • There is a gold and a rose gold dual sim thats still available

  • Is the battery on the edge a lot better?

  • Just bought the last S7 edge dual pink gold for the Mrs

  • +2

DON'T but the Snapdragon Model. It is horribly gimped.

    • What do you mean? Can you plz be more descriptive?

      • The usa models have locked bootloaders (no custom rom!)

I'm not sure if that is relevant to the chinese 9350, but there will be limited roms available.

(Usa and china get the snapdragon quadcore) On paper the quadcore should have been superior and has a much better gpu, but the samsung made octacore gets better battery life and presumably some optimized code so that it runs at least on par with the snapdragon in real world use.

The 935fd is the cheapest on the market so I doubt you will get a 9350 anyway

        • Thanks for the details but i noticed 9350 gets a snapdragon whereas, 935F and 935FD get exynos and the seller mentions 935f and 935DF in the details and these are two that i bought.

I am hoping to receive Exynos not the snapdragon because this is what i paid for.

  • Out of stock again, just missed it for the second time!

    • So sorry to hear you miss it twice.

Once I saw the restock, add cart & check out, but still missed it.

      • It's all good, maybe it will come back into stock again, if not then I saved a lot of money!

  • all out of stock again

  • what do you guys think about this deal: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SAMSUNG-GALAXY-S7-EDGE-32GB-BLACK…
comes out to $780 after the 20% code.

    • +3

      Id rather pay $679.20

      • Someone obviously didnt mind paying $780 because its OOS now. But yeah you are right, Id rather wait than pay $100 more.

  • kidding me…. checked first time, all gone, then back to stock….. aahhhhh why i didn't know it. all gone again…..

  • +1

Thanks for the heads up. I got the LG G5 instead for a very reasonable $503 from the same seller.

    • Very good phone and a better camera but battery life is horrible

  • So which chipset is the best Snapdragon or the other one? :-)

    • +2

      Exynos.

      • I bought exynos and snapdragon s7edge.

  • -4

Grey Market stuff is iffy at the best of times even with well known sellers like DWI,T-Dimension,Qd_Au and Kogan and especially for warranty.
I searched shopping square on whirlpool and there is almost nothing on them…………

  • After ordering two s7 edge phones I noticed they have a few negative reviews on their ebay page about slow postage and poor communication… Should i be worried about it?

  • Does anyone have experience whether Shopping Square ebay pay GST for these grey imports or straight from Hong Kong?

  • +1

I have decided to cancel my pink gold S7 Edge (dual sim, 935FD), so for those who missed out, keep an eye out in case it comes up as available again.

    • Any reason?

      • My partner got home from work and said I was an idiot for cancelling my Note 7 pre-order last night and today ordering an S7. He thinks I should still go with the Note 7 (I'm switching from an iPhone 6S Plus).

The online staff from the ShoppingSquare website were very prompt and helpful in cancelling the order and I should have a refund by the end of the week.

        • is your partner ozbargainer?

        • +2

Why? Note 7 is like nearly double the price and same internals as s7e..

        • +3

          Your partner is the dummy.

        • Agree with the others. The only thing the note 7 offers is a stylus and a potentially useless iris camera. It has a smaller battery than the s7 edge and a bigger screen so overall it has inferior battery life.

Although I might be a bit biased since I'm typing this on my new titanium s7 edge.

        • @ChillBro:
the N7 also has USB type C ..

        • @tarken: personally I prefer the micro usb , I don't have to buy all new cables

        • +1

          @rememberme:
No need to buy new cables as they provide you with a micro-usb to type-c adaptor

  • +1

Can anyone confirm if either dual SIM CPU version offers 3g minimum on the secondary sim?

Similar to the Moto g4, which is 4g+3g

  • A lot of you probably don't like this comment. I got burnt by grey import cause of the LG G4 bootloop. I rather pay 1.1k S7 edge for local 2 years warranty.

Anyway problems I walk to Samsung retail store.

    • +3

      You're just unlucky.

All the mobiles phones I've purchased to date have been grey imports and I've never had an issue with any of them. The money I've saved buying grey vs local means even if I got a lemon I'll still be in front……it's a risk I've been willing to take and I'll continue to take.

At the end of the day we're not talking about a great deal of money. I imported my own Yamaha jetski from the US when the aussie dollar was worth $1.10 against the greenback - cost me $13,500 Aus to get it here. To buy the same thing locally would have cost me 21-22k. It's all about the risk you're willing to take.

    • I got burnt on an LG Australian stock phone which was a gift because I couldn't produce a receipt. I will never deal with LG again, their customer service was deplorable. I could have taken it further (Fair trading) but didn't have time at the time.

I've heard much better things about how Samsung treats customers, even with grey imports.

Warranty issues are definitely a risk with grey imports but for the $$ saving it's a risk I'm willing to take.

      • Ah wells. I did went thru a number of grey imports until I got the G4 with issues

  • So exynos is the better model? I nearly bought the single sim (remaining in stock ones) which seems to be the chinese snapdragon model.

    • Exynos also comes in singlr sim variant.
      9350 is snapdragon
935F(single) and 935FD(dual sim) are Exynos.

  • Was going to snap this up but the Samsung S8 Edge with USB-C is just 7 months away. Geting sick of 50/50% chance when inserting those charger cables… x 365 days of the year.

    • +1

Blitzwolf reversible cables solve this problem

      • sweeet. I learn something new every day. :P

        • Deals come up here at banggood, I replaced all my charger cables with these, so good!

  • When do guys think phones will get delivered?

    • +1

Mine says between 26th to 31st Aug but it hasn't been dispatched yet.

      • So delivery within this time frame is not possible. They said they will use fedx or DHL for delivery for delivering these phones. I am hoping to receive them soon.

        • what makes you say that? FedX can ship within 3 business days no?

It's on Shopping Squared to process our order asap.

        • @gdx: They say their handling time is 7-14 days, and then it's sent via expedited delivery. So I think it's the "handling" that is causing delay.

        • @lisss: right but sadly they haven't dispatched phones yet.

        • @Braintrain1000: I tried to ask them when it will be sent out, but they can't tell me, just referred me to the 26th to 31st Aug date as well, well, hopefully I'll receive by then.

        • @yannyrjl:
Have they sent it out to anyone? I've been getting the run around for the last 4 days and have now been told that it will be dispatched within 24 hours. No chance i'll receive it by the 31st.

  • Was informed by ss my colour is out of stock and either change to gold or refund.

    • what colour was that and was it the S7 or S7E?
