I'm a bit suspicious of this offer, seems targeted at US paypal customers. I reserve my judgement until I receive the balance in my account. If something is too good to be true, it usually is…

    • +7

I'm a bit suspicious of this offer

It's got +ve votes from mods scotty & co, so good enough for me.

  • Thanks TA..:)

  • Shall do tonight!
    Cheers though!

  • Thanks

  • +1

Wow c'mon, it won't validate my email because it has a + symbol in it! THATS A PERFECTLY VALID PAYPAL EMAIL!!! Gah

    • +1

Agreed too many websites with problems adding a +. Just decided I'd rather have a second spam address instead. Also anyone who knows about the plus will just remove it anyway before selling or spamming.

      • who knows about the plus will just remove it anyway before selling or spamming.

Sure but I value being able to filter all my emails with tags and categories, so much easier.

Goodness. Is that a Froyo ZTE smartphone I see selling for $82? What a er…. fastastic deal.

  • Cheers OP

    Thanks TA.

You should run a shopping service. People let you know what they need and you get it them at the lowest price. Of course you charge a fees or commission.

    • +1
    • +2

Why would you need a shopping service? You got ozbargain for this purpose already.

      • -1

Why would you need a shopping service?

So I don't check OB every 5 mins.

  • Over 1000 yay

  • Best deal ever.

  • -6

how to claim 70% off through the Ebay .. it means commit to buy and if it doesnt then I would be forced to buy by ebay it should just say 70% discount waiting or equal to this much amount and do a check out.

    thanks

    • +3

      …. What?

    • well I meant about the ebay checkout process - is the coupon emailed or will it apply the discount 70% off from the paypal account we check out. dont wanna end up buying expensive stuff and then go through the returns process…

        • so means I ll receive a coupon for the 70% off… with in a week as per T&Cs

      • +2

it say up to 70% and also ebay DEAL. Not 70% off ebay site wide. Just choose the $5 as it will most definitely be the best option.

  • +1

Judging by the page markup, seems pretty genuine as some of the analytics code is hitting the paypal.com domain (https://tracking.qa.paypal.com)

  • Cheers TA

  • Where does the $5 show up?

PS The eBay sale items seem to be from US companies, or at least shipping [only] to USA.

  • Takes 1 week to appear in my account

  • So whats the deal with the 70% off ebay purchases offer? Anyone know?

    • I actually one of the few that chose this one and got no idea how to apply the discount :(

  • +1

I don't drink so this is better than free beer.

    Thanks TA!

  • Thanks TA

  • EASY FREE MONEY

  • +2

Would be funny if PayPal did not award the money to people.

    • +11

Would be funnier if someone put you in a paper bag, set it on fire, and left it on your front door step!

      • Oh that's been done before.

  • You guys are one of the highest paid individuals in Australia. $5 for 1 minutes work. ~300 an hour tax free.

    • I report this to the ATO, because I'm a law abiding citizen.

      • Good movie that.
