For me, it has to be this: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/29936 - 50% off King of Shaves and Azor System Razor Products. Free Delivery
Scored 64+ and I stocked up on so many Razors, Shaving Cream and Balm that to this day I reckon I have 5 years supply still left! It's truly the gift that keeps giving. Haven't heard much from shave.com.au since, so must've hurt their wallets.

  • Oral-B Pro 500 deal @ 19.95 after WW discount, and cashback.

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/104694

Purchased 4 each from two nearby woollies, and sent them to family members. Used 2 addresses to receive the cashback cheques, as there was a limit / household.

Still using ours now. Made in Germany devices have worked well thus far.

I missed out on this one. Devastating: "AirAsia Business Class PER-KUL Return for AUD $224 and Many Other Flights". Reading back through the commends, it seems like more than Perth was at ridiculous prices.

This was the best deal for me and a curse. Great cheap way to discover that there isn't really much to say for KL as a holiday destination IMO. Real deal was using the pricing to get to other destinations in SE Asia.

Got the misses hooked on the pointy end of a plane. Has eroded any gains from that trip!

I regret not booking a years worth of flights, I just didn't believe that AirAsia would honor the pricing, I was anxious right up until the plane took off. I even booked fully cancelable hotels, expecting that I wouldn't be on the flight.

Five years ago was the great OzBargain Chupa Chup glut. I couldn't give them away towards the end of it!

    • I grabbed this deal too and used them as rewards for Students at my workplace. Great contribution!

  • Everything from Price Engine (parent company 9289.com.au) I still use. The Benq 24 lcd monitor is still my main panel. And the Samsung Spin point f3 is in my HTPC.

9289 however went belly up when Paypal apparently froze their funds.

I seem to be the only one in Aus to get my order honoured, and i ordered 10 for pickup :)

Gave most away to family and friends, and i have used mine to read ebooks for about 30 mins in total, its sitting somewhere collecting dust.

My first post. I discovered additional codes by just increasing/decreasing the number in the coupon code. Stacked them up to give me $35 off $50 spend. This post forced woollies to change their system to only accept a maximum of two codes.

    Still wish I got more!

    • Good post, but this was only 4.5 mths ago - youve been a member since 2010 - anything from the good old days?

  • Slightly off-topic, I still remember the deal that made me opened an OzB account:

    http://blog.ozbargain.com.au/2008/catch-of-the-day-birthday-…

The entire Whirlpool Forums was raging because no one could order a Wii, hence I signed up for OzB to join the discussion (trolling, to be exact).

It was said that the stock level of the Wii's were about 10 :)

  • Still using this printer til this day, truly the best ozBargain I've experienced. Not to mention they ran out of this version, then offered a higher model for no extra charge.

Leans back in rocking chair…"the deals these days aren't as good as they used to be"

  • Best deal for me was the bonus Sodastream Play (worth $99) w $50 alcohol spend - they'll be great Christmas pressies.
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/178964

My other favorite deal was the pod skincare sale from almost 2 years ago but it didn't get many upvotes. I scored a box of 24 Liquid Light Moisturisers for $60 (RRP for the 24 units is $1,440). I use it every day and it's just the most gorgeous facial moisturiser (and I've still got quite a few left).

Most treasured deal for me was the Amazon free worldwide shipping deal if you used your AMEX card. I spent heaps on books, cordless shavers, etc.. Saved about $1,000 in shipping costs because I bought all the big hard cover books (which are expensive to ship) and probably thousands more (as everything in Australia cost 40-50% more).

Free Julius Marlow Thongs, you know a deal is good when your reminded of it everyday when you look down :) And FREE

  • The $9 Dell Printer deal (someone has already posted the link for this).
I didn't get this deal, but there was a big W deal once with a Sony Tv, PS3 and some games for $600'ish. If anyone has the link for that deal, care to copy-paste here?

  • The PS Vita from Amazon back in 2012 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/76588

    and

The Toshiba FULL HD 40inch also from Amazon https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/75491

This is my favourite deal to date. Not a massive saving but… the irony of having something shipped from the other side of the world for less than half the price of buying locally, says something about how much we are ripped off here sometimes!

  • Not very old but still use them.
Eneloops from deal - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/135849 through barguy
HP Windows laptop replacement for HP Slatebook from deal - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/195289

Those $100 Tigerair vouchers that they were giving away for signing up to their infrequent flyer club.

Railed that so hard, went MEL>PER return, MEL>SYD return & MEL>OOL return for my girlfriend and I (we didnt end up using the Sydney flights because she double booked our holiday but still!)

    • Yep, this was an awesome deal (albeit 2014) https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/139632 and I used it for me and a mate to travel MEL-ADL return with all meals and priority seating for exactly $100! Thanks Tiger!

  • The one I am most nostalgic about is a world's cheapest BluRay Disk Recordable (BD-R) deal when Officeworks stopped selling them: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/160520 (my own post, but still very nostalgic about it!)

  • Bitburger mini kegs for $12.50 smashed 8 of those.

  • Based on the votes it would have to be this ;)

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/149368

But my personal favorites were some of the various Sony Cashback deals. The Sony A7s was actually cheaper a year ago by about $500 bucks!!!

  • the nespresso delinghi citiz for around $200 delivered from amazon spain! this was a t 3 to 4 yrs ago. still gets used everyday and its still more expensive now.

also the etihad deal to europe for$400 but need to add one way fare to sg. still huge bargain.

  • My fave fun camera, (that I actually got for $40, b/w the 7 & 8 pm sale!) and I'm still buying the cheapie film, from Ebay sellers, in China or Japan :)
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/71391

  • The many cases of Matilda Bay we bought for $25 delivered kept us adequately hydrated for months.
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/90062

Arguably better than the $20 cases of PBR pints based on flavour.
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/140239?page=1#comment

I'm sure there were some non-beer deals in there too.

  • edit: oops not 3 years old

  • For me, the deal that has stuck out the most was the HP ProLiant N35L Microserver for $168 over 4 years ago:
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/44381

Still going strong as a home server / NAS.

Still the despised person (after Broden) on OzBargain! What you did sent shockwaves through the OzB community.
