    • Ditto?

    • Yep… Although if you have quite a few games, 500Gb may be too small

      • The PS4 hdd is upgradable (within warranty too).

      • +1

You can plug in a external HDD via usb to expand storage. No need to swap out the internal if you don't want. ;)

    • +1

It's the cheapest it has been in quite a while.

      • +1

Buy now or wait until Christmas…. hmmm

        • I would grab it now, I don't see it being that much cheaper in a month's time.

        • +1

          Buy now = play now

  • Is it worth grabbing COD:WW2 for $59 if I'm only going to play the campaign?

    • +2

$54 at harvey norman starting tomorrow if you want it for PS4/xbox

    • The campaign really isn't that great from what I have played so far. Constant cutscenes and slow hand holding sections get annoying fast :( If you wait a bit longer i'm sure itll come down further

    • +2

      no

    • No worries, thanks guys. :-)

    • No, it't not worth it if you only playing the campaign.I finished the campaign in around five hours. That's almost $12 per hour for you.

    • -1

Yes, you'll only be $29 out of pocket. Since you'll easily sell it for $40. Depending on how long it would take you to complete the campaign.

  • Anyone know if the PSVR is the new version yet? Wouldn't mind having the HDR passthrough.

    • +1

Won't be new version until next year. They're doing cheap bundle price to clear stock until then.

    • If you want to guarantee getting the new revision of the headset, order the Skyrim bundle from Amazon USA. It's currently 349 USD plus shipping for the new revision of the headset plus camera plus 2x move plus Skyrim.

      • That's about $515 AUD. ($40 USD Delivery). Yikes!

        • Yep. But considering you get the camera, two move controllers and Skyrim VR it isn't that bad a deal. Plus as I said, you're guaranteed of the getting the new revision of the headset.

  • +4

    Want some switch game deals

  • +4

    No ps4 pro yet?!?

  • +1

anyone know of any psn deals by any chance ?

    • Black friday started early for PS:Plus members. Other than that, no deals.

      • oh my bad i meant any deals to get psn subscription i.e. the 3 or 12month subscriptions

        • only the 12 months for 59, but not at jb

  • Guys, is it worth spending all that extra money on ps4 pro considering that I don't own any gaming console? Very confused.

    • +4

If you have a 4K TV, probably yes. Otherwise, probably not.

    • +4

Yes, i bought Ps4 pro day one even i didnt have 4k tv, but i knew exactly i would upgrade sooin in next few months. You can still benefit ps4 pro on 1080p tv with better performance snd graphics, depending on games which are enhanced for ps4 pro or not, you will get better performance or graphics. If you can afford now, go for the Pro.

    • +3

I got a pro day one in the hopes it would improve the crappy psvr graphics. Yeah that didn’t really happen.

Kinda regret getting one. I don’t have a 4K tv. It was a waste of time and money for me.

That said in my opinion, if u have a ps4 already, don’t bother unless you really want kinda but fake 4K.
If you only have a 1080p tv, it’s a tougher sell. You’re basically paying $200 more for the pro for more stable or higher frame rates, well and an extra 500gb of HDD space. I can’t believe Sony didn’t include a 4K blue ray drive either

    • +1

PS4Pro offers 4K and that's about it. There are a few games that are enhanced for PS4Pro but they are few and far between. The majority of games have the same framerate and graphics quality on both consoles.

If 4K is important to you, get the PS4Pro.

    • If you want to future-proof any of the newer games that come out which will have extra graphical grunt… yes.
If you are interested in getting a PSVR sometime… yes.
If you have a 4k or HDR TV… yes.

      Otherwise, probably not necessary.

For me, I don't have a 4k tv (not interested), or HDR tv (Interested), but knew I wanted to get a PSVR sometime, so I bought the PS4 Pro on special.

  • -2

Bring back the 200AUD PS4 please!

    • When did we have $200 PS4?

      • Mentioned it a couple of times in other threads. It was on last good Friday.

      • +2

We didn't, although if you were an Amex card holder it could have been purchased for that price during a sale.

        • -1

Mate are you stalking me or what? Gosh, get a life.

        • +1

          @PictureMeBroken:

          Oh it's you.

Can you stop getting other member's hopes up please?

        • @Lorindor: Still you don´t admit it mate. And there is no hopes getting up, it was 7 months ago.

        • +3

          @PictureMeBroken:

          Get a room you two

        • @PictureMeBroken:

And there is no hopes getting up, it was 7 months ago.

Leave that deal in the past where it belongs!

        • -3

@Sjfilly: Mate it is a fact that the PS4 was 200AUD, or may it be 205AUD a couple of months ago. Period. Arguing about it doesn´t help anyone. Back to topic please.

        • @PictureMeBroken:

Mate it is a fact that the PS4 was 200AUD

          Yes it was, once.

      • +1

There was the PS4 with extra controller and PlayStation remote for around $285, which I got but I don't recall a console by itself for $200.

  • any deal on the logitech G920 wheel?

  • How does this usually work? Midnight 23rd?

  • +9

Is there a link to the catalogue available? Ta.

    • Thats what I was wanting also . Many of us will be seeking a price match, so we need something to show the store for price match.

  • +2

Do you happen to know if the PC versions (of applicable games) are also included in the sale?

Just remember, if possible, buy from Target/Big W is possible. They're creating some good competition right now.

  • +3

    Lol

I feel bad for Polyphony Digital.

  • +2

Don't forget to stack the Teens Gift Card at Woolies with 5% Wish for approximately 15% off JB Hifi Gift Cards

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/341835

    • I tried buying a gift card using a wish card once. It didnt work, have you tried it recently or in Sydney?

      • Yeah, did it today.

eGift card to purchase non Woolworths branded gift cards at Woolworths always works. Never had an issue with any Woolworths in Perth at least.

        • Yes im in perth also and no issues with paying for gift cards with egift card. But you cant use any points earned or credit you have towards them i happen to have $10 in my everyday rewards card tried using that $10 to make gift card cheaper but it never worked a few places i tried and a few staff said you cant. I think it even says online on everyday rewards cant use towards gift cards.
So yes you gain 5% on buying the egift card but the 1000 points you get im afraid can only be used for other items but not gift cards.

        • @bwatt72:

Not hard to spend that money on shopping and grocery though?

        • Yep true but thought i was going to be able to get further discount on cards by using the credit.
I remember last year im sure there was a % off cards but might have been coles. Not sure if this has happened again since or not.
I prefer to be buying these cards cheaper not just by egift but also with some promo. We are getting like 1000 points for $50 card which is $5 but i prefer that as card costing less if be honest.
Just curious though was the ultimate teens cards just the $50 cards as see no mention of $30 or $100 cards gaining points.

    • When does this deal expire?

      • Tuesday. One more day to go.

  • +1

Need more PS4 Pro, Switch deals then that would get me more excited

  • +2

Holy crap i feel bad for Polyphony and Sony. $29AUD is ridiculous for a game that came out like 3 weeks ago. Nuts but great for the consumer i guess.

  • Should have waited for this instead of the Gamesmen deal for VR. Moreso because it's easier to return if there's issues.

  • Great as I have some 4k blu rays I'm after

star trek and star trek into darkness (part of the 2 for $40) - 20% so $32.00 for both

the mummy and the mummy returns (part of the 2 for $40) - 20 % so $32.00 for both

Planet of the apes trilogy $64.98 (Jb exclusive) - 20% so $51.99

  • Seeing as it's a 4 day sale it's safe to see if Amazon will launch on Friday with better prices than JBHIFI before buying

  • Don't forget to use RACQ Rewards for a further 6% discount:

    https://rewards.racq.com.au/retailer/jb-hifi

I was able to stack 2x e-giftwards for the one purchase in store

  • -1

wow, this isnt that good for games.

  • No PS4 PRO..again..

  • Any Coffee machine deals?? Need my sub 1k Bep920 deal!!

  • surely jb will drop a discount on ps plus???

  • +1

    lol rx100 iii 899$.

    • +1

They're really targeting the suckers with that "special" price. Got a brand new MKIV direct from Sony months ago for hundreds less.

      • Really? RRP$1399 right now?

        • Oops, not quite "hundreds" but people were getting brand new MKIVs for about $770 back in March. Labelled 'box damaged' but actually brand new.

          www.ozbargain.com.au/node/296921

        • @Mega Vanillish:

Damn, I guess they managed to fix up the price for this 20% off sale (sony sells the same box damaged for $1,099 now, $880 after discount ATM).

Can get a iii for $640 though.

  • How come Ipads are getting cheaper? The next model coming out?

  • Is it the slim PS4? Do they even sell the original anymore?

  • +1

$29 for GTSport is insane.. Glad i offloaded it for $50 the other week.

  • i am spewing myself for buying the $149 deal for GT + Controller from EB Games now 4 weeks back.

    Why did I do it.

  • any idea if the PS4 500GB Console $269 is the new slim model?

    • Of course.

      • do you know if they still do trade-ins, wouldn't mind offloading my original ps4?

  • Any word on TV deals yet? JB had a few really good deals last Black Friday.

    • Following

  • Will the prices be for online orders too?

  • Is that 20% off all Blu-Rays?

  • Hmm, the XB1 is getting tempting, anyone think it will get any lower than this in the next 3 months? I see a whole lot of people on scumtree and fb trying to sell their consoles for $350 lol.

    • I’ll sell mine for $349.95

    • Im surprised it hasnt dropped more. Price for the 500 gb Xbox One S was $279 same time last year. Would have expected it to be cheaper a year later, particularly since the One X is now out. Will wait and see if MS do some crazy deals closer to Christmas like they did last year. Maybe combined with ebay sales.

  • Is there a 10% off newsletter coupon we can combine with this ps4?

  • Any closer to a full list of games for this promotion? I've already resigned to just going in on the day it starts, but that's what they want me to do!

  • +1

Gran Turismo Sport is cheap, but if you have two playstations in your house. You can setup your other playstation as your primary account, and your playstation will then become your secondary account. Purchase Gran Turismo Sport digital online ($39.99 - Currently 50% off) and then you have two copies for $20. Download on both playstations using your account, and you don't have to both putting in discs.
