    • how is this compared to that 17 inch alienware for 3k few weeks ago…

      • +1

Looks like GPU was quite a bit better on the Alienware 17 the CPU on this if cooled well would be better however from what I can see. I would say the Alienware would be a better gaming laptop but it seems pretty darn big.

    • I find the form factor quite appealing on these Razer laptops. I can’t find many competitors for this form except Asus G15, M16 and X16 but they’re slightly more bigger.

    • +3

      This was great price for the 3070 Ti version Razer Blade 15 Adv - 15.6" 240Hz QHD / i7-12800H / RTX 3070 Ti / 16GB / 1TB - $3039.20
      OOS now though :(

      • +1

I managed to grab one this morning!
Looks like one was in stock again.

      • One more back in stock for 3070ti if you wanted!

    • I find it useful but not affordable :(

Using the targeted SNSMID code if you're lucky enough, otherwise $628. Including free express post.

Cheapest 6700 XT ever I think.

Alternatively it's $599 at Scorptec itself - not bad if you can get to a store and don't have the code.

    • Amount of product may be being kept artificially low too. Seemed to have been at 5 left when I first checked deal, and now 2 more sold, but still showing 5.

    • Great find! Cheapest real deal indeed apart from the EOFY $528 pricing mishap earlier this year.

  • Merged from TP-Link AV600 Powerline Adapter Starter Kit (TL-PA4010 Kit) $59 Delivered @ wireless1_eshop eBay

Cheap powerline adapter starter kit (up to 600 mbps) with pretty fast free delivery turnaround of approx 1 week.

Been on the prowl for one and found this deal, 18% off the usual price. Already have a set in my home and has worked great, experienced near-flawless gaming and content streaming however YMMV, performance can vary from room to room.

Plenty in stock at time of post.

    • agree with you.
it is sometimes even worse than poor wifi.

      • Sorry to hear if that is your reality, my download speed and ping have been rock-solid using these adapters using a gaming PC upstairs from my router

    • EOP are shit in general and can stuff up some appliances like fridges with bad filtering for thease. We had to get rid of ours after 3 sets of them. We need up cabling but just spend the money on a mesh system

      • Which mesy system did you get?

        • +1

I highly recommend Tends mesh system they are soilid for the money

Tenda Nova MW3 Whole Home Mesh WiFi System Pack of 3 (4E10005)

          https://amzn.asia/d/0XKK3UP

    • +1

If these are the same as mine, the NIC on them is 100MB. So the 600MB is theoretical through-the-electrical-cables bullshit and, absolute best case, you'll be getting 100MB throughput. That said, I prefer the stable latency of these when gaming over our WiFi (either 2.4GHz or 5GHz). This is not exactly a bargain, but a fair price IMO.

      • +1

Pretty sure that's for the SE version.

        • Isn't SE version the new model?

          • @Xishnik: According to the video OP posted, it's a cheaper variant with integrated fans.

edit - disregard that, that's wrong. It's a different variant without a top cap, but apparently has little difference in terms of performance.

The SE edition is the cheapest variant, though, according to OP's youtube video @2:30

      • Great price if you can pickup in VIC

    • +3

Check the seller feedback. I bought the same item from them when Shopback had a big upsize, and it "got lost in transit" like a lot of other things they sold to other buyers. Maybe others will have better luck than I did, but I consider them disingenuous.

      • I ordered multiple dozen things from them for clients over lockdown.

        Nothing went wrong.

Sometimes mail does genuinely get lost.

      • +2

exact same happened here last month, plus a very similar version of this cooler is cheaper on a more reputable site.

    • +1

Thermalright??!?! There's a name I haven't heard for a while. I think I still have a Ultra 120 Extreme Copper lurking around somewhere.
Next you'll be telling me that Abit and DFI motherboards are back

      • Oh… I miss the bios setup on Abit motherboards back in the old days

pretty shocking feedback. wouldnt do it

    • Have always loved Thermalright coolers. Still rocking a True Spirit 140 even though it sticks out of my NR200…

    • Height is just 2mm too tall for the NR-200 ITX case.

      • Silver Soul 135 is the one for ITX

        • how does silver soul 135 compare to this

      • +1

i've got the white version of this and it fits no problem in the nr-200, although only with mesh panel

    • Why did they bother to make a cut out for the first ram slot when the fan placed in front will block the next memory slots over anyway? I just bought a Deep Cool AS500 last week which has dual 140mm fans and does not block any ram slots. I think the performance is a bit higher than my BeQuiet Dark Rock 4 (Does block ram slots). The fans are not as high quality as BeQuiet but I set them to 750 rpm and they are near silent. The heatsink and mounting quality on the Deep Cool is very good though.

    • Can anyone suggest good cooler maximum height allowed is 115mm to 120mm… cost is not a concern but height is my issue …I am looking for ryzen9 5950X…

      • I tried Noctua D15 without checking height. Need to send it back.

    • $49 at BPC Tech.

    • Cooler Master Hyper 212 can be had for the same or less. Picked up one for $59 recently

      • 4 heat pipe vs 6, this is likely a much better cooler than the coolermaster.

      • This is way better than the 212 which is completely antiquated these days.

        • +1

The 212 earnt a name for itself years ago when it was $30 or so, but they have simply cranked up the price on it over the years off the back of its early success. Imo if you want an equivalent cooler now, you should just buy a Snowman off AliExpress for $30.

      • hyper 212 is ancient at this point, i'm pretty sure this cooler is a lot better value here

      • +2

Looks like I should have done more research. Had a 212 on an old system and was quite popular back then, assumed it was still great value

        • +1

Well, you're not alone on that one. I payed about the same 6 months ago for the 212 to get some extra life out of my old i5.

Personally a big fan of this and it is high rating on Product Review.

It's actually the cheapest ever price, if you have eBay Plus and then stack with 3% off (or better) Shopback eBay Gift Cards.
It is quite rarely on special especially for this much, suspect it may go out of stock sooner rather than later.

    Currently $17.80 at Woolies:

    FAQ:

    • Subjectively better than other brands such as Aldi, you will have your own subjectivity.
    • 25c - 27c per tablet / wash depending on if you stack with gift cards (-3%) and if you have eBay Plus (-2%)

Tbh, I've alternated between these and the Logix Platinum at Aldi.

I prefer the Aldi ones, as I feel it has a slight cleaning 'edge' over Earth choice. Things just appear a bit more shiny and smell a bit fresher after using Aldi tablets. Sometimes with Earth Choice it doesn't quite clean things that are a bit stuck on.

With Earth Choice I open the dishwasher at the end and it smells a bit musty/stale, yet with Aldi, it smells fresher and cleaner.

      Just my 2c anyway.

      OoS

    • +2

Was it ever in stock? lol

      • Sure was, I was able to buy some whilst I was composing this post.

    • +2

No stock - update: strange negging me for this. It’s not in stock. It’s a fact!

    • According to CHOICE magazine, "Earth Choice All in One Dish Tablet" rated at 72% which was 9th out of 27 dishwasher detergent (12 October 2021)
If you're into eco products it came a close second to "Ecostore Dishwasher Tablets" which was 73% rating for cleaning your dishes,
it has an even higher eco rating of "A", Earth Choice was "B".
You tightwads might be interested in knowing that No1 place at 78% went to "Aldi Logix Platinum 18 In 1 Dishwashing Tablets Lemon".
Which OzB commenter @placard said was their favourite also, but the other ALDI dishwashing products were 71% and 49% for the ALDI powder.
BTW according to CHOICE do not buy "Earth Choice Dishwasher Powder Lemon Fresh" which rated only 43%, it came last just above tap water,
so if you want to buy Earth Choice, buy the tablets made in France🇫🇷 🥐not the powder, unfortunately made in Australia 😖🇦🇺🪃

      • -2

that confirms my experience that Aldi washes better. Cheaper too.

In general I've tried Earth Choice stuff to try to help environment, but always been left disappointed by the results. From clothes power/liquid to dishwashing liquid to dishwasher tablets, it's all sub-par in my opinion.

    • Geez, over before it started. I bought 8 before posting, and at the time of posting it stated “more than 10 available”.

FYI: $599.40 delivered from the Epson Refurb store.
I have ordered numerous printers all arrived in original packaging as new, but have always been sub $200, not sure I would take the gamble on this price point.
      But sharing for others;
      https://www.epson.com.au/shoponline/shop/DisplayProduct.asp?…

      • Great idea. Thanks for sharing. Also, so many printers online for cheap. Can make many printers chipless via firmware uograde then get refillable ink cartridges / continuous ink supply units.

        • these Eco tank Epsons are very cheap to run, the bottles for mine are less than $20 each and lasts ages,

        • Yes, Rihac make an excellent continuous ink system.
Generally the quality of Ink Tanks is sub-par compared to cartridge, however this particular model is Niche in that it it is an excellent photo printer (not quite as good as instant prints, but good).
For standard A4 prints, I personally wouldn't pay this much for a printer that can only print single sides (ie: no duplex), but get it's a Niche product.

    • This or Brother Wireless Colour MFC Laser Printer MFC-L3745CDW for $330?

As per my extensive research in last few days, Inkjet (ecotank is inkjet basically) is better for color printing compared to laser. Ecotank is cheaper per print compared to laser. Laser cartridges are expensive compared to Ink of EcoTank. Finally bought EcoTank ET-1810 today.

    • just bought ET 1810 today, wasn't aware that EcoTank is available in Photo as well. Seems a nice option in future.

    • Anyone using these to print Sticky Australia Post Labels ? From where can I get those ?
