For those that want to use this as a way to subsidise the membership cost, you can currently get a $39 yearly membership using this link :)

      • +9

The whole offer is valid until 31/12, but your individual subscription renews for a year from when you pay :)

        • Thanks. So glad I seen what you wrote. I had misread also from last month. Cheers for you post

      • +3

        is it reeeeaaaally a year?

        Yes.

    • +1

Or couldn't you use a burner email? I subscribed when ebay plus launched … used it only twice

      • Possibly, but I'd imagine that eBay probably has some measure in place to stop that, similar to how Amazon detects if you've already used prime before.

        • +3

Amazon.. has something like that? I’ve done burner emails every year for Prime Day for the past 3 years and also some few other times at random times of the year. Never had anything stop me from doing it.

@igordennis: Weird, I tried to make a new account and it didn't offer a free trial. Might need new payment methods get around it?

    • +1

      Awesome thanks for that

I let my plus subscription expire and was waiting for a deal to get on plus again

$39 less $49 off groceries did it for me!

    • Be warned anyone planning to use Coles Ebay. Don't bother if you actually want to receive your order. The code is almost impossible to apply, when you do manage to apply it and pay for it after attempting half a dozen times (apparently you need to spend well over $99 if you want to use the $49 code for more then a few items)…make sure that the address doesn't change back to your default delivery address if you use a parcel locker. They DON"T deliver to parcel lockers…..are dumb enough to try……DON'T bother trying to contact you…and then when you realise what has happened tell you that it isn't their problem…DIRECT quote from both Coles Online customer service and the online staff at the physical store. No refund, no goods!!!! VERY unhappy customer

    • Can you pay plus by ebay gift cards?
They just asked for paypal and didn't ask for which card to use or anything at all.

  • +7

Half price zooper doopers. Summer stash sorted.

    • They already half price. So this deal makes them 75% off. :)

      • +5

That’s what I meant. Summer zooper dooper game changer.

    • +8

      Don’t forget dental insurance.

  • +4

Wow thats actually a decent deal for ebay plus for once lol nice work OP !

    • Except my "This order was not successful. Order cost has not been included in the total amount. "

  • Pretty good find OP!

  • +2

There are going to be a few unhappy ebay plus members. I suspect this is for first time coles purchasers only given the '$49 off your first Coles purchase for eBay Plus Members'

Can you confirm if this will work for those that have purchased from coles previously?

    • Looks like that's the wrong code. Please double-check and try again

Dammit. I dont remember buying from coles ebay before. Ive been a plus member since the start so probably have. Grrr.

      • +2

        Commences at 10am today

    • +1

Thanks @doweyy worked a treat on existing shopped account

  • +6

    Too good to be true.

    • Sure for me "This order was not successful. Order cost has not been included in the total amount. "

  • +9

I only paid 1 dollars for eBay plus so I am happy with them

  • Just my luck, literally just gave Coles ebay a go last week :(

    • +4

      literally

  • +1

Does this stack with the 10% Cashback?

  • +2

I'm out of the country. Does anyone know if I can buy and either collect or have delivery 10 October or later?

    • +53

Just enjoy your holiday boss. The bargains will be here when u return.

      • +23

I agree but doesn't this dedication indicate we are in the presence of a true blue ozbargainer?

        • +5

A true Ozbargainer would cancel their trip to take advantage of a bargain.

          • +12

@lostn: A real true OzBargainer will order $300 worth of goods then take it with you on your holiday to claim TRS before flying off.

    • +6

It says the offer period is until 16th October so just wait and order closer to the time.

  • +4

"Doesn't post to Vic regional" … but I can go to Coles' site and get a delivery. Go figure. Good deal for those who can get it.

  • +3

    Shame it’s not in Hobart.

    • Yeah. Wasted an upvote :-( I’d even go and pick it up…

      • +2

        Not in Canberra either. Why????

  • +1

    Very nice find!
Anyone know if it counts towards the spend $XX to get bonus flybuys points since you can link flybuys card with ebay?? Thanks!

    • +1

doubt it, seeing and the bonus terms are coles online and coles stores only, depends how they process it through their system I guess .. would be nice though

    • eBay process payment through PayPal, so unlikely.

  • +1

Shame it’s not in Hobart. But great deal.

  • Tempted to try this one out,but where exactly do they send your groceries from?

  • Is there a way to search for all things on special?

  • +1

When you buy from Coles eBay. Can you add your flybuys to the invoice. Does it count in 10000 points offer?

  • +4

Still no $1 or $5 offer for ebay plus. Not gonna sign up for $49 for some musical chairs deals like the AirPods and to be disappointed.

  • Do they offer click and collect?

    • "At the moment, it's not possible to select in-store pickup"

  • -1

Receiving a code error, current ebay plus and never ordered from Coles… Didn't read start time whoops

    • Starts at 10AM AEST :)

    • +1

      Did you get this too??

0 results found. Please try a different postcode.

      • I think that means they do not deliver to your area.

"At the moment, shopping with Coles is only available to buyers living in selected areas of metropolitan Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. Orders with a delivery address under ‘Excluded Postcodes’ on the Coles FAQ page will be canceled."

        • Can I do Click n Collect ? But then there is no products shows …

  • +4

Will this work with free ebay plus 30 day trial?

    • +4

      yes.

  • +6

For convenience, maybe put a link to Coles ebay in your description OP: https://www.ebay.com.au/b/Coles/bn_7114044189

    Edit: Thx!

  • +1

A shame that the product range is so limited - milk, for example, only 3L full cream, no Hi-Lo, etc :-(

    • Agreed. The range has shrunk vs when I last used Coles on eBay. For example the 24x600mL Coles water is no longer for sale which was quite the bargain, and having someone deliver this up to your apartment made delivery so worthwhile.

  • +1

Does spending on coles via eBay count towards those targeted offers from coles spend xx and get xx flybuys?

    • +1

      Nope

  • Nice, thanks.

    careful guys

    • Is this the Coles official account?

      • +2

yes it is, read their feedbacks, so much negative and neutrals

        • I read them and it comes across as someone negging for their whole order when many of the items got delivered anyway…

      • +6

there is serious lack of attention of care for online orders. often they will pack up the wrong items or missing items.

  • +1

I need to buy some groceries. Seems like a really good deal. Never tried eBay Plus so I can use the free trial period. Let’s see at 10 AM.

  • +1

what do I buy $99 worth?

    • +1

      Dates

      • It's like $20 a kg!

      • +6

Why a sultana goes out with a prune. Because it could find a date.

      • Good idea. I put dates in my freezer. They keep well and don't freeze.

        • +2

I won't swipe you on tinder if you put your dates in the freezer.

    • +1

      Toilet Paper

    • just over a kilo of pine nuts will do it.

One of the FAQs from their page

Is there a minimum or maximum order amount?
There's no minimum or maximum order amount for Coles groceries on eBay.

However, currently you can only check out up to 40 different items at a time on eBay (3x quantity counts as 1 item). If you're buying more than that, you'll need to split it into two separate orders. You don't have to delete items from your cart – just select Save for later.

Weekly specials are limited to 5 per customer.

    • Weekly specials are limited to 5 per customer.

Does that mean you're only allowed to buy 5 items on special? Or a limited to 5 in quantity for the 1 item?

      • -1

5 special items but for each item you can buy x quantities. That's what I interpret from their FAQs.

      • +1

You can buy 5 supreme Doritos, and 5 original Doritos. It’s 5 per individual item.
