Tips:

  • Use "add to basket" if you are buying more than one item to minimise the number of times you use this coupon, while ensuring your basket holds less than $1,500 of items to avoid the $300 cap.
  • Do your research first. Some retailers/items may be overpriced, certain items will be cheaper elsewhere even without the 20% off.
  • As always don't forget 2% cash back from Cash Rewards. Help
  • Dick Smith is having their own sale on their site. It's always best to compare the prices between DSE eBay and the DSE website.

        • @Jabba the Hutt: TGG still showed the banner when I bought at 7am. They will take it down when their staff wake up.

        • +1

          @dstambou:

it doesnt matter if they still show the banner. read the fine print which says "Ends 25th June if coupons dont run out earlier"

        • @jitesh_88: From a legal perspective? Depends. Could be seen as misleading and deceptive conduct to run a banner prominently advertising a discount/free coupon, with minor fine print that says it doesn't apply anymore. Either way, not fussed :)

        • @dstambou:

i understand your point. but its too much hassle to fight for it. they may just ask you to cancel your order or return the product if your unhappy. very unlikely they will honor the deal though because its not their store credit, its $50 ebay voucher.

  • Can anyone recommend a gaming laptop sub 800?

    • get a desktop m8

      • Any specific one?

        • Just about to ask the same question. Is this one good for the price $611 delivered: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Dell-Inspiron-3000-Small-Desktop-…

        • +1

          @steveau:
          No, that is horrible.

        • @Jamiea:

          Thanks, much appreciated.

What about this one. It's 16 GB ram, 3.4 Ghz, 2T sata hdd for $719 delivered:

          http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-ASUS-Desktop-PC-3-40Ghz-Quad-…

        • +5

          @steveau:
You're after a gaming desktop right? None of the computers you're listing even have video cards. Take a look at the prebuilt PCs on PCCG for a rough idea.

        • @Jamiea:

          Thanks again.

It says it has AMD Radeon HD Graphics… I gather that's just a basic graphics card?

Nah, just a home desktop computer. Not for gaming. Would the ASUS one be good for that and is it a good price?

        • +1

          @steveau:
If you aren't going to be doing gaming than either of those would work for a home desktop. I don't really know if they're good value or not though.

        • +3

          @steveau:
Steve, if you're after a nice home desktop try build it yourself from PCCG. You can get a i5, 4-8gb RAM and SSD for pretty cheap and it will be nice and fast.

      • That's not what he asked. I'm also interested in an easily portable gaming machine I can take to friends place for the same price

    • I am also looking for a entry level Gaming Laptop with a FHD screen , Share if you find one please

    • +2

      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/131511372308
It's a refurb, but their speil is convincing.
2GB graphics, i7 quad core, full HD

      • Great find mate ..cheers..wish it wasn't a refurb

        • +2

nothing wrong with refurb'd laptops though. still comes with 1 yr manufacturer's warranty.

that's a really good value for money midrange gaming laptop too.

  • +1

BD-H6500 Blu Ray from Good Guys for $119. Good price ! Thanks OP.

  • Good timing needing a 64gb micro SD for my dash cam. Thanks OP!

Is there any way to filter the individual posts out of my feed so it doesn't get choked up by this?

  • bought Sony a6000 from Kogan. not too good, but it is ok price. especially, the dollor dropped a lot. :(

  • +1

BOOOOOO @ Kogan. Had the Nexus 6 on my watch list at $613, this morning it is up to $681.

What use is a discount code if all the prices go up overnight. Dont even know why i buy into these stupid ebay codes…

    • +4

The previous 10% off ended last night which is why it's more this morning

      • -3

The point is that every time there is an ebay deal like this posted up, every single one of these retailers jam their prices up at the last min, or from some miracle, their stock goes from 10+ to sold out about 2 mins before the code becomes active, only to be relisted after the sale starts at greatly inflated prices…

  • things are getting out of stock…. :(

    booooooooooooooooooo

    • set alarm at 6.55AM and you won't miss anything. :)

  • Oven I was watching went out of stock by 7:30 :-(

  • +4

Looks like i am putting my money back in my wallet. I was watching 2 items. 1 is out of stock and pricing for the second went up.

  • Does anyone know much about projectors and soundbars?

Thinking of getting these two and any advice would be much appreciated!

BenQ WXGA 3D DLP Projector MW526
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/351383982296

    &

    YAMAHA Surround Sound Soundbar YAS-93
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/261720005634

    • the a-holes have upped the price on projector, only 679$ on their site: https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/benq-wxga-3d-dlp-projector-mw52…

Still a reasonable deal @ $619 after discount for projector though

    • +3

if it's for movies you'd definitely want a 1080p version, something like the popular BenQ W1070 etc. Anything lower is fine for presentations though.

    • Like he said: BenQ WXGA 3D DLP Projector MW526 is NOT 1080p!

Spend an extra $200 or so and get the W1070.

  • Tossing up between the Dyson DC37C or the Electrolux Ultraflex Animal Allergy.

    Any advice anyone?

    • +5

I just ditched our mini Dyson for a Miele C3 Dog. Wouldn't bother with a Dyson again.

      • Miele all the way. Dyson is the Apple of vacuum cleaners, lots better out there if you take time to research.

        • +1

Agreed. There's a vacuum repair dude on Reddit who does AMA's each year. Miele is always his choice.

        • -2

[@zuccs](/comment/2858095/ of course Miele is his choice, it is the one that brings him the most business in repairs. Why would he promote a product that brings nothing to his business?

      • Cool thanks, grabbed a Miele instead :)

        • +1

As someone who owns both brands - I can confirm you've made a good choice.

  • +5

Dick smith just removed about 20 mobile phones and their fitbit range lol

    • pretty poor, i hope i dont have problem with the one i bought early today.

      • Yeah you should be fine

    • Don't get it I thought eBay subsidies the 20% why they do that?

      • they do it for the moneyyy

      • not always subsidised

    • I suspect part of their sellers agreement is that they don't list those products for under a certain price - similar to what Apple do and why never see more than 10% off Apple products at big retailers.

  • +1

    LG G2 16gb white < $300 from OO, 4 left
    Anyone have black version?

  • is there anything good to actually buy?

    • Plenty!

iPhones, iPads, SSD, Laptops, TVs. Really depends on what you need/want.
$300 saving per transaction up to 3 transactions, up to 10 items per transactions.

You could spend $4500 and save $900 - in 3 transactions.

  • Did anyone manage to get the Dyson DC45 from Good Guys for $238? I had one in my cart, then it went out of stock before I could enter the code…

    • +1

Same here.i had also one in cart last night showing pickup option too and in morning couldn't get to the payment. Very disappointed.

    • +2

Was out of stock before the sale started.

    • Nope, sold out before the deal started. :(

  • Any decent android tablets?

  • Any modem deals? Don't really know what's good and what's not

    • +2

Same looking for a new ac modem router, would love to know if anything good can be had for up to $200.

  • Guys check your paypal transaction, paypal just charged me the full amount without discount despite sending me the invoice with the discount applied

    • +17

Not this again. You didn't get charged full amount just trust me on this one.

      • +1

Really? Ok then, i dont have much experience with Ebay discount. Thanks man

        • +1

Lol someone asks that question every deal. Check and read your pay pal carefully. That or check your bank statement.
