    standard head will be fine for rugs and small areas. those of us asking about the carpet head have a whole floor or bedrooms full of carpet and the 8 min max operation isn't suitable.
    max speed is fine for small areas. i have a dyson v6 and max speed works great with carpet and the standard head, but it just dies so quick

    Carpet head is a bit expensive which is disappinting. I would have expected it to be in the range of 50 bucks considering the whole device is 270 which comes with multiple attachments. Almost 25 percent the cost of the vacuum.

      This I agree because it should come with it by default.

      This is because in China they don't use carpet they got hard floors hence no brush head.

      If they want the global market they should cater and package the most common head for that market, then offer less common on as add-ons rather forcing ppl to get the carpet head.

    Thanks OP. I've ordered. My Dyson v8 battery is pretty much dead after 2years and 2 months. Not sure if this battery will last more than that, but at least I'm not paying $800-$900 for a stick vacuum that only gets used to do areas that I don't let Roborock into.

      Update: received it today and did a test run throughout the house. Works way better than our V6 absolute so this is a great addition.

      Have it on Max and still trying to deplete the battery after 10 mins.

        Can they design the carpet roll/brush that can fit into the existing soft roll attachment?
        That would be more cheaper to make and buy.

        ie. Take out the soft roll and put in the carpet brush roll into the exist soft roller attachment.

    Bought this a few weeks ago on a previous ebay deal from Gearbite. Came very quick and we are very impressed with the quality of it. It came with the Australian charger and plug. We have large areas of wooden floors and the same of thick carpet. We have a dog with thick fur but not an excessive shedder.

    The lowest speed setting on the wooden floors works great. Used the medium speed setting with the carpet roller on the carpets and filled it up quickly. The carpet head comes apart to clean out any hair wrapped around it.

    The wife has a Dyson at work and reckons this feels better quality. The mounting rack went straight into the broom cupboard and keeps everything very neat. Highly recommend it.

    Is the purifier 100% ozone emission free?
    Is it good for people who have pets and suffer from allergies leading to wheezing runny nose etc?
    Does it capture pet hair and dander as well?

    I got mine, the carpet roller head works well even at lowest setting, but I think it swivels too much. A bit annoying, but I'll probably get used to it. This is better than V6 that's for sure.

    I also have dyson v6 and ordered this with the carpet head. a quick review for anyone referencing this in the future:
    * dreame much quieter than v6 even on low and max settings
    * dreame carpet head has much more suction than dyson v6 (even on dreame's lowest setting). the dreame's standard/mid setting with carpet seems to be the best all round option for battery life and carpet suction. dyson v6 needed max power (7 min battery) to pickup fluff off carpet however dreame standard/mid (30 min) with carpet head does a better job. occasionally i'll increase dreame to max power for heavily trafficed areas (eg a doorway) but i am happy using it with standard
    * dreame lowest setting is suitable for hard floors so you get lots of battery life for that
    * dreame head swivels more than dyson and will take some getting use to
    * dreame power button is almost as comfortable as the dyson's power button, but they both hurt your hand after a while anyway. i figure if it hurts it just makes you stronger (that's why we go to the gym right?!)
    * gearbite has quick delivery, good packaging
    * dreame can be wall mounted with teh brackets but if you buy teh separate carpet roller you now have an extra accessory that can't be stored on the typical wall mount
    * dreame has removeable filter so get that out and clean it every so often

    Got mine yesterday. Does anyone else find the additional carpet head hard to roll when on max setting. Seems a lot of friction to push around on max.

    Overall happy with it though.
