Notes

  • Minimum $50 spend per transaction.
  • Discount also applies to postage.
  • A maximum discount of $100 applies to each transaction (Transactions totalling at least $666.67 including postage will give you the maximum $100 discount).
  • Up to 3 transactions per person.
  • Payment must be done through PayPal.
  • Discount can be applied to items sold by overseas sellers, as long as you checkout on eBay.com.au.
  • You can purchase multiple items (even from different sellers) in one transaction by adding them to your cart. However, make sure all items are in the same currency. Otherwise, you'll have to checkout in each currency separately and each currency you checkout with will count as a separate transaction.
  • PayPal transactions will show the full amount after the purchase. However, if you login to your PayPal account, find the transaction(s), and click details, you will see a 15% contribution from eBay plus your actual charge to your funding source which makes up the difference. The total needs be 100% because the seller gets 100%. eBay just pays the 15% and you pay the rest. It should look something like this http://i.imgur.com/afbCvki.jpg (Image courtesy of ezarc - Obtained from previous 15% off offer).
  • Items can be 'purchased' before the promotion starts (ie. Auctions ending before 10am Sunday). Payment is to be made during the promotion period with the coupon code applied at checkout.
  • Don't forget to claim your 2% Cash Rewards cash back.
  • Or earn 2 Virgin Velocity Points for every $1 spent from Virgin Velocity.

  • Does this apply to any Ebay purchase or only purchases from Ebay stores?

So I sell my car for $1000000 to you. You pay me $850000 . I then give you back your money and keep the $150000 for myself, after subtracting the fees from PayPal and Ebay I should be in profit by about $2.37

    • +6

Plus the commission ebay charge on postage - your profit should be $0.37

    • +6

      From last 15% off Deal:

          @zassaliss:

i dont believe it counts as colluding or unfair or not good faith etc.

On what planet? If its so squeaky clean why not send an email to eBay customer support asking them to change your first order?

        • @zassaliss: your proposal is soaked in bad faith.

    • With eBay deal coming in weekly and being a ozBargainer — someone should really kill you for doing this.. ;-p

        • how did i miss that

      • The $750 macbook air ended about a week ago.

    • +4

You are not taking into account the Paypal fee as well. If you are caught, your accounts will be banned too. I think its rather unethical using the system like this.

    • +1

Except the max discount per transaction will probably be $100 like their last deal.

    • +2

They will life ban you and if you log in to both accounts from the same computers your accounts are already associated.

    • Should have done that in the BBQ deal.

  • My only question: Am I buying a PS4 or an Xbox One?

    • Both!!!

      • I guess I'll be spending the next few days figuring out the best ebay store to get one from.

  • Yay

  • Looking forward to it!

  • -2

Fantastic offer, hope there are some new iPhones listed! Come on Ruslan, bring those $500 airs and $550 5s back one more time!

  • Hopefully this will be identical to the last one in every way (except maybe a few sellers might be quicker on the uptake this time and jack up prices, but I'm sure lots of others - including overseas sellers - won't be any the wiser).

Hope to pick up a few things that I missed out on last time due to reaching the discount cap.

    • Well hopefully there is more competition this time with plenty of stock to move (compared to a handful of BBQ sellers). That way the market actually works and there is still incentive to offer the best price.

  • Yippee! Time to buy more stuff

  • +5

Now just need to figure out what to buy.

  • What is the maximum discount going to be?

    • +2

      Probably like last time

The total discount amount payable is capped to a maximum discount of $100 per transaction.

    • Does eBay sell mansions?

      • +3

There is most likely a max discount cap of $100.

  • Time to start watching.

    • -3

      Apple-watching?

  • -6

Du ma!! What should i buy this time

    • +1

      Bitch please!!!

  • LG G3 or PS4? I'm using S3, need to upgrade! or do I want to play Destiny more!?

    • +1

Just went to a G3 from an S3, I use my phone literally every day. Definitely a better investment than a PS4! If you've got a PS3 just buy a digital copy of destiny to satiate your need (and you get a free digital copy for the PS4 when you get one!). That's my plan at least.

      • Yeah, I m looking to upgrade from S3 to G3 as well. How's the battery holding up? Camera app & AF is snappy as advertised? Thanks

  • I hope dicksmith sells eneloops lowers their prices to compound the deal. They get to sell more and earn money. A wealth transfer from ebay to dicksmith.

  • +2

im surprised everyone on OZBargains doesn't already have a PS4 with all the sales that have been going on

    • I am one of them…not yet…

      • I am another… not yet… if it's $399.20 before the 15% off I might just grab one…

        • agree, i am holding out for $399 with a game before i purchase it

        • @banzini:
          I'm waiting for a revision, i.e. slim ps4.
Still plenty of ps3 games I have not touched!

  • I assume we are going to have a eNay bargains thread on Sunday?

  • Does this deal only work for Ebay stores or can I purchase say a pre loved sega master sytstem from some joe blow from perth as an example

  • -1

Need to know what the maximum discount is though… (Up to $100 / $10, who knows?!)

  • +5

    17% :)
