Last month, we declared April the month of Delivery Hero. This month, they were the top 6 fastest deals to the front page, and were also in the top ten fastest deals to 100 votes or more. Unfortunately, it looks like the good times are over as we haven't seen a promotion in June. Oh well, back to Dominos.
It was another huge month in competitions with 2 members (here and here) winning a trip to London. However the biggest win of the month was $10,000 from ING Direct. Last month our multiple major competition winner maximum did an AMA which I highly recommend if you want to improve your comping skills.
Negative votes are a contentious issue but they can also be a big kick in the arse to step up the deals from reps. The most negged deal in May was from Sellingoutsoon in which it received -11 votes. The rep asked the community and the moderators for advice on how they can provide not only good deals but deals that are of interest to the community. They did a complete 180 and the last 5 of 8 deals posted have made it to the front page. Voting affects the ability of the reps to post deals so it is in their best interest to consistently provide good deals.
Also of note is that we had our all time highest amount of comments in May of 70,329, in which JV contributed 1.3% of them (923). June is going to be a huge month in terms of EOFY sales so stay tuned.

We are giving out a few more prizes for May, and the winners are:
snoo for the most popular deal last month, DickSmith sale list. It basically scraped DickSmith's website and compared the price difference between 2 dates. We used to have sites such as MildSurprise, PriceSlice and AnyPrice doing this kind of thing but somehow all of them disappeared.
TRENT86 for posting most deals. In May he posted 83 deals averaging +38 votes, 36 of them got onto the front page and the most popular being Free Daft Punk Album from Google Play.
tightarse for the most popular competition last month, Win cash prize from PayPal. We have recorded 26 wins so far unfortunately 0 out of 3 for me. Other TA records last month: 67 out of 69 deals he posted got onto front page, averaging +101 votes. This Delivery Hero deal also raced to the front page in the shortest time (4.87 minutes).
nmat for posting most competitions. In May nmat posted 42 competitions average +7.2 votes, most popular being Win a Renault Captur from SBS.
tonester for posting the most popular freebie, Two-Year Regus Businessworld Gold Membership that was also the 2nd most popular deal in May.
