Broden Redemption
The backstory of "Broden" is summarized on the Wiki as one of the first recorded incidents of an OzBargainer boasting about buying multiple quantities of a bargain. In their case, it was 10 PS3s which they said they later resold on eBay. In reality, they only bought one.
"Brodening" happens on OzBargain from time to time but rarely do we get a followup and especially not a follow up in-person. In March this year, Costco accidently listed for sale Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve Scotch 700ml for $10 instead of $100. @harryoz bought 10 and boasted about it to a barrage of mostly negative votes. In a follow up comment he stated:
I'll save 1 bottle for the Ozbargain christmas party at the end of the year, ill share it with everyone there.
Well, at the Moonee Ponds meetup this month, harryoz did in fact give out a bottle of booze as a prize to a random person at the meetup. Maybe we need to coin "Harryied" for someone who buys multiple quantities for a bargain to later give one out at a meetup?
