November + December are always yuge for deals. Click Frenzy alone netted us 1.386 million pageviews yesterday (15/11) up from 1.118 million last year. I'll be doing a seperate followup post on Click Frenzy but looking at the amount of good deals posted, I think this one has been the most sucessful in the five years its been going.
This Monday, OzBargain will be turning 10 years old and to celebrate is having a 48 hour shopping event. We've had a preview of some of the deals and they look pretty good. Additionally, this Monday I'll be giving away some t-shirts in the Melbourne CBD after work as well as some other freebies (details coming soon). Black Friday is on next Friday (25/11) and is the final shopping event until Boxing Day.
Site Updates of Interest (Not a full list)
- Add International option for comp locations
- More DB improvements (speed up site)
- Classified now lists all classified types not just selling
- Disabled 5 minute delay for power user edit if node is a referral post
- Random question for the random discussion threads.
