Browser stats have always been fairly stable with Chrome increasing slightly every month. However in January, Chrome dropped 12% down to 46.00% and Safari up 11% to 38.22%. That's a huge monthly change that I've never seen and can't explain. Did everyone get iPhones for Christmas?
Some things in the queue for OzBargain: a new front page algorithm that takes into account a number of factors including busyness of the site. Business accounts separate from personal accounts (similar somewhat to how Facebook handles it). Both of these were from user suggestions so please if you have any feedback or suggestions, please let us know in the forums.
Oh and yes I'm still compiling the 2017 yearly stats. Here is a cool graph of # of deals posted per store.

gnv9 for posting the competition of the month, Win an Isuzu D-MAX or MU-X from Network Ten. Winning-a-car competitions seem to be always popular (especially when they are close to $80k high-yield investments). gnv9 also posted 7 of the top 10 comps, and posted 244 competitions in January (that's almost 8 comps a day).
Being Askhole for posting the most deals in January. BA posted 72 deals with average vote +31, most popular being this Catch deal getting +122 votes.
nocure for posting all the popular eBay deals — 20% off a list of stores, 102 stores and 26 stores, which actually happen to be the top 3 most clicked deals on OzBargain last month. 20% off 26 stores posted on 29 Jan managed to get onto OzBargain front page in 8 minutes and 35 seconds.
