New year, more stats.
We've had a few threads on what the average age is on OzBargain but have added age stats below via Google Analytics.
January: 18-24: 14.77%, 25-34: 40.21%, 35-44: 21.75%, 45-54: 10.23%, 55-64: 7.42%, 65+: 5.62%
Nothing too surprising about those stats however what is interesting is the dramatic change between December & January (ignoring that odd dip to 0) for 18-24 year olds. In December, 18-24 year olds represented only 5.92% of traffic. Having a look at the graph over the past 2 years reveals a drop of 18-24 year old users at the end of the year and the largest amount of 18-24 year ever this month. A new generation of OzBargainers?

In fact 4 of the top 5 deals from January were bushfire relief related (Free Accommodation at Oaks Hotels, Free Accommondation at AirBnb, Free Replacement Passports, etc).
Merelee for posting the most voted deal that wasn't bushfire related, City Maps 2Go Pro or Premium Offline Maps Free at Google Play, saves $19.99 or $26.99 on one of the best offline maps available on mobile.
gnv9 for again dominating the competition postings on OzBargain. 240 comps were posted. Most voted being Win 1 of 5 Sony WF-1000XM3 Headphone + Gift Card from Sony, and most entered Win 1 of 3 Microsoft Surface Go Tablets from Roadshow.
ndallen09 for correctly following the OzBargain convention by providing an explanatory diagram (most probably drawn with MS Paint) in his "who is at fault" forum post. The comment happens to be one of the most voted comments last month, showing the overwhelming approval from the OzBargain community.

Considering jv's reputation not bad with a 1.35 comment vote average, having the top comment for the month helped, Spackbace nearly cracked 3 which isn't bad for 700+ comments.
