Bonus Cashback Master Thread for Cashrewards and ShopBack

Hi All,

Thought it would be a good idea to start a master thread for all those popular bonus cashback deals from Cashrewards and Shopback. This will be a one-stop shop to check whether those bonus cashback offers have been tracked and paid into your accounts. I think this is particularly useful since the expected payment date is sometimes a couple of months after the actual purchase date. I usually use the reminder function but thought it would be easier to have everything in one place. Hopefully others will too.

    CashRewards' latest bonus cashback offer is valid until 11:59PM AEDT tonight.

    Valid at any store but refer to TimeorMoney's handy post here for % savings from the Gift Card portal after taking into account the $3 bonus. Just be aware of the minimum denomination.

    Note there is no longer an expected date for cashback to appear - bonus cashback will be approved once the associated qualifying purchase is approved (as per the terms of the store).

    I've added the latest SB offer for $2 bonus cashback on minimum $30 spend from the Gift Card Portal.

    The addition of Amazon gift cards are much welcomed and hopefully will be more enticing with bonus cashback.

    In this case, $30 worth of Amazon for $27.40 (after cashback) represents a 8.7% saving.

      Thanks for the update! Based on previous experience, it usually takes 5 business days for the status to change from 'pending' to 'confirmed'.

      I will update the table once this change has occurred.

      For everyone else - definitely worth following up if you don't see the above message considering the amount and if you have a pending transaction from eBay on 26 December.

    Any issue with SB if you just purchased for the exact target amount, e.g. spend $20 get $2? Cashback shows $0.19 for me, tracked at less than $20. Bonus has not turned completed for a few hours, but the spend $5 at any store get $2 did.

    I find it is a general issue with eBay that the reported purchase amount is usually lower.

    I would recommend everybody to take a screenshot of all your challenges in shopback (after activating), if you haven't done so already.
    My girlfriend also activated the OB challenge "16-Apr-21 challenge $2.00 with $5.00 spend." challenge, saw she was in the running, then did a transaction and the challenge is now gone.

    Support won't do anything without a screenshot.
    I haven't had any problems before with these challenges, but will pay extra attention to take a screenshot each time from now on.

      That's highly concerning @johnmelb and thanks for the tip. Although I think we all agree that we shouldn't need to take an additional screenshot just to prove our eligibility.

      I've just checked mine and it's still there. Since it was an OzBargain exclusive, it's located slightly differently under the 'Earn More' section in the 'Perks' tab.

      If this is a widespread issue then Shopback needs to answer for it.

    TA has confirmed that those who bought gift cards from the recent 10 off 30 offer has been paid out.

    Those who made online store purchases will need to wait until the standard cashback is approved before having the $10 bonus confirmed.

    I encourage everybody to double check the SB status in your own account.
    After seeing 1 wasn't credited (which was rectified by after contacting gotyourback), I'm now going through the list and already see at least $7 not credited in my account. But these are indicated as paid in the list.
    (Some marked as paid in the list here on 15 May, are still not visible in my account but I can see "Reward pending" in the challenge.)

      I second this sentiment - our tech, while amazing, isn't flawless.
      If there are ever any errors, send me a DM and I'll sort it out ;)

      The reason some people might see a delay would be due to cashback wait times for the merchant you've shopped at.
      So while people will get theirs credited within 60 days, others might have to wait up to 120 days (just check the cashback wait time for the merchant you've shopped at)

    Did anyone participate in the 19/05 CR promo and received their gift cards yet?

    Here's the snippet of the T/Cs:

    • A $5 gift card (with the choice to opt for Coles, UberEats or eBay) will be issued for the first qualifying transaction of at least $30 within the promotional period.
    • A $10 gift card (with the choice to opt for Coles, UberEats or eBay) will be issued for the second qualifying transaction of at least $30 that must be made at a different store to the first transaction within the promotional period.
    • Qualifying transactions must be made between 5:00PM AEST 19 May 2021 and 11:59PM AEST 23 May 2021.
    • The gift cards will be sent out to the email address linked to the qualifying transaction(s) on 23 June 2021, or 30 days from the promotions end date. That is, the gift card(s) will be made available to the invited email address.
